Home to the Utah Jazz, Vivint Smart Home Arena is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This indoor arena opened in October of 1991.
The first basketball game played in the arena was a Jazz pre-season game against the New York Knicks. This venue also hosts music concerts and arena football games. It also can accommodate figure and short track ice skating events. EnergySolutions Arena offers nearly 20,000 seats for basketball games.
In addition to the main seating in the bowl, there are over 50 luxury suites and almost 670 club seats. The arena’s main build encompasses over 740,000 square feet of space.
This cube-shaped venue provides plenty of light through its massive windows. The concrete structure sits between the Great Salt Lake and its desert to the west, and the Wasatch National Forest and Uinta Mountains to the east.
The Gateway is located just west of the arena and includes a food court and movie theaters.
The two concourses provide service for the two main seating areas, with the lower concourse offering services for fans on that level as well. The upper seating area allows fans to view the lower concourse from their seats.
Head on down to the Gateway and grab a pre-game drink or bite to eat. Then catch the real excitement at Vivint Smart Home Arena where the Jazz hope to capture another division title.
