Tropicana Field Tickets
When the Tampa Bay Rays (originally known as the Devil Rays) began play in Major League Baseball, the team called Tropicana Field home. The ballpark has gone through a few name changes since its debut in 1990. Today, the domed stadium seats 42,735, making it the smallest stadium in the MLB. Nevertheless, there’s not a bad seat in the house of this intimate place to watch baseball.
Prior to becoming the home stadium of the Rays, Tropicana Field hosted other sporting events such as tennis matches, auto racing and arena football. The stadium even served as the home venue for the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning. Tropicana Field also hosted the 1999 men’s Final Four.
