This speedway is just over a mile long, making it one of the shortest tracks on the NASCAR Cup circuit. There are two 800-foot straightaways that are connected by short turns that bank at 11 degrees. The oval track has long straightaways that are flat with narrow turns.
Since it opened, there has been little changes to the track, but those that have occurred are designed to enhance the total fan experience at the speedway. A pedestrian tunnel can be found under the fourth turn. There is also an area on this turn that features sports information and displays for fans to enjoy.
You can reserve camping sites throughout the backstretch, at turn 3 and at the camping ground gate. Sites open on Saturday morning, one week before each race. Park your RV on a site to hold your place. Speedway parking is free. There are private properties around the speedway offering camping and parking as well. Some are fields and some are neighbor's backyards. Prices vary.
