Arthur Ashe Stadium Tickets

In the world of tennis, few players have left a legacy like that of Arthur Ashe. Playing professionally from 1969 to 1980, Ashe won 33 singles titles and 18 doubles titles while amassing more than 900 wins. He died in 1993 from AIDS-related pneumonia. One of the most famous tennis stadiums in the world bears this legend’s name. Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York, opened in 1997 and is the main venue for the US open tournament. The stadium holds 23,771 fans and has even hosted non-tennis events such as professional basketball (the first outdoor game ever, held in 2008). The stadium is the world’s largest tennis venue and also has a retractable roof.
