This musical romantic comedy tells the tale of a boy, a girl and their two meddling fathers who trick them into falling in love, but build a wall to keep them apart. Setting the tone and guiding the audience (and characters) along this play of wonder is the poetic and imaginative narrator, El Gallo. The Fantasticks originally opened in 1960, with music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, and played 17,162 performances (closing in 2002) setting the record for longest-running musical in history. This revival brings the same magic back to the stage, and stars Jim Schubin and Samantha Bruce in the lead roles, with the charismatic and talented recording artist Jeremiah Jones as El Gallo.

Come see what the Wall Street Journal hails "The perfect musical."
