5/26/15 - As monumentally popular as Disney On Ice Frozen is, a long anticipated showing in Tampa was nearly cancelled. If the New York Rangers had not knocked the Washington Capitals out of the MLB playoffs, the Frozen spectacle on May 16th would have been, sadly, cancelled. Tickets for the show went on sale all the way back in the summer of 2014, so many children would have been disappointed after waiting nearly an entire year to see Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven dancing out there on the ice. Luckily, no one had to miss the show. Next, the Disney on Ice show is coming to Florence, South Carolina, and tickets can still be attained for less than $20. Be sure to see the show before it leaves town.

4/30/15 - Although it has been two years since Frozen's debut, it remains a high seller for Disney, especially the tie-in merchandise. In March, fans were rewarded with a new short, Frozen Fever, with the live action Cinderella. As they await Frozen 2, fans can now experience Frozen for breakfast, or at least enjoy a tie in Frozen cereal from Kellogg. Fans who have a hard time letting it go can also enjoy a live action version of Frozen, along with the Disney princesses and other iconic characters when Disney on Ice Frozen comes to their home city. The next stop on the tour is New Orleans, where there will be shows from April 30 to May 8, before the tour heads to Baton Rouge. Tickets are on sale for all shows, with prices starting at $77.

4/6/15 - It was just a few weeks ago that Disney made the bombshell announcement that fans around the world were waiting for: a sequel to the mega-hit Frozen was indeed in the works. Even though the original film continues to perform strongly 18 months after its initial release, the demand for more of Anna and Elsa’s story has been through the roof. A release date has yet to be announced, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to get your Frozen fix. The Disney on Ice Frozen live event continues this week in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center. Shows run through April 12th, after which time the tour will continue on to Houston, Texas at the NRG Stadium. Tickets are on sale now for all performances, but supplies are limited!

2/19/15 - The movie Frozen continues to delight fans around the country, and these same fans now get a chance to experience the show live with Disney on Ice Frozen, the latest retelling of Disney stories in a spectacular ice skating show. The show features the beloved characters from the movie, as well as many of the popular songs, including "Let it Go." As added bonuses, fans also can enjoy appearances by Mickey, Minnie, and many other beloved Disney characters, with a parade of characters at the beginning that celebrates friendship and sisterly love to tie into the central theme of the show. The show is currently in Boston at the TD Garden, and will head to St. Louis, MO at the end of the month, with tickets still on sale starting around $76.

1/20/15 - The Disney on Ice Frozen show is continuing its tour across the U.S. After starting back in September, the show began in Florida and has been working its way toward the west coast. It is now playing in Rosemont, Illinois, and will be coming to Chicago Jan. 28th through Feb. 8th, during which time there will be 22 different shows. If you live in New England and missed your chance to see Elsa, Anne, Kristoff and their friends out on the ice, you are in luck because they will be bringing the show back when they visit Boston, Massachusetts in February.
