WWE Raw 2016 News and Updates

In a word, this summer looks to be Raw. Tensions are mounting amongst WWE fighters, and things are sure to boil over in the coming months. WWE Raw will be in Phoenix on June 20th, and the way things have been going between Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, it will be a wonder if anyone lives through the night. Assuming everyone survives, John Cena, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles and the rest will be in Tampa the next week, and the Raw battles will only escalate from there. Tickets for the showdown in Phoenix start at $48, while seats are available for the following week in Florida starting as low as $47.

The April 18 episode of WWE Raw came from across the pond, with the action taped in London. Despite being a taped show rather than live action, there was still plenty of action for fans. There were two rivalries taking the stage as Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho battled it out while Dean Ambrose faced Kevin Owens. Jericho secured the win over Zayn, despite giving his trademark DDT on the floor and through the ropes. Ambrose was able to get the victory over Owens thanks to a few frog splashes and Dirty Deeds. They head back to the states for the next match, which will be in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 23. You can still get tickets for $43 and up.

This week’s installment of WWE Raw opened with Dolph Ziggler defeating Kevin Owens via pinfall, with the former using the ropes for added leverage to pick up the win. Next in Divas action, title holder Charlotte picked up a submission victory over Alicia Fox with the Figure-Eight Leglock. Bray Wyatt earned a decision over Ryback, Titus O’Neil fell to Adam Rose and the team of Rusev & Alberto del Rio picked up a win over the Lucha Dragons. Tamina took down Becky Lynch before the main event, which saw the Dudley Boyz & Usos defeating Mark Henry & New Day. WWE Raw heads to the Honda Center in Anaheim this Monday—pick up your tickets today from $43!

2/5/16 - Last week’s edition of WWE Raw featured plenty of body-slamming action from wire to wire, starting with U.S. Champion Kalisto defeating Rusev via count-out in a non-title matchup. In tag team action, The Usos defeated Curtis Axel and Adam Rose, followed by Brie Bella pinning Divas Champion Charlotte in the evening’s second non-title bout. The Big Show picked up a victory over Erick Rowan, scoring the three-count after his trademark Chokeslam maneuver. Titus O’Neil then took down Tyler Breeze before Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns scored a non-title win over The New Day in the main event. WWE Raw comes to Key Arena in Seattle this Monday—get your tickets now starting at $29!

1/29/16 - Contrary to what many observers had initially expected, it appears that Samoa Joe will become a primary roster member for the WWE following this year’s WrestleMania spectacular. At the outset, it had seemed that Joe would exclusively be a part of NXT action, never to compete on Smackdown or Raw. There’s even talk that he’ll make a title run before long, as the organization looks to cement him as a major talent early in 2016. WWE Raw makes two more stops on the west coast (Seattle on 2/8 and Anaheim on 2/15) before heading east, so don’t miss the chance to catch the action live! Get your tickets today starting at just $41 each!

1/8/16 - WWE Raw was missing its biggest name at Monday’s competition. Although it is unsure when the injury occurred, John Cena has torn his rotator cuff and it will require surgery. He announced via social media that he would be heading to Birmingham to go under the knife. The news has been devastating for the WWE, who will be holding the highly anticipated WrestleMania on April 3 and will need a replacement for the Cena vs. Undertaker match. Despite the huge setback, Raw is still one of the most entertaining competitions on television and the fun continues this week as the crew heads to New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center on Monday night (Jan. 11). Tickets are available for $42.

2015 Season

12/25/15 - This week’s installment of WWE Raw featured plenty of exciting storylines and quality matchups, kicking off with The Wyatt Family defeating the team of Kane, Tommy Dreamer and the Dudley Boyz. Kevin Owens got an upset victory over Dolph Ziggler with a Pop-up Powerbomb, Alberto Del Rio retained his U.S. Title by defeating Jack Swagger and The Usos scored a win over Tag Team Champs The New Day in a non-title bout. In Divas action, Becky Lynch prevailed over Brie Bella and in the main event, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose finished off Sheamus in a cage match to keep hold of his belt. WWE Raw tickets are on sale for major venues across the country! Get yours today!

10/2/15 - WWE Raw is always an adventure, and Monday night’s show did not disappoint. Cheesy lines are somewhat of John Cena’s forte, and he was in fine form as he opened the event. There were members of the Buffalo audience who weren’t amused when he declared, “some of y’all seem a little salty tonight” before flashing his US Championship belt. When the New Day, who sang a hilarious version of “My Time Is Now,” teased him, Cena gave the group a stern warning that all but one heeded. Monday, Oct. 12, WWE Raw will be held at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Ticket prices start at just $35. Get yours today!

9/25/15 - Most people are aware of that awful feeling you get on Sunday evenings when you realize that it’s back to the daily grind the next day. One thing that helps take the sting away, however, is knowing that WWE Raw will be right there waiting for you every Monday night. Ever since its debut in the 1990s, the show has had a huge and devoted following. Now, due to some sinking ratings, the WWE is doing all they can to bring in new viewers. They recently announced that the show on Oct. 19 would feature some of the greatest wrestlers of all time, including Brock Lesnar, the Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ric Flair. This week’s show will take place in Buffalo, New York, at the First Niagara Center.

9/18/15 - The next installment of the WWE Raw is coming up, and this week’s showdown will go down at Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, TX. Several great matchups are slated for the night, and everyone’s waiting to see what The Dudley Boyz, Nikki Bella, and the rest of the gang will do. Tickets to next Monday’s event are currently available in large quantities and can be purchased for as little as $17, which is a fantastic deal for all of the excitement you get packed into one night. Fans are especially anxious to see what unfolds between Seth Rollins and Sting, after Sting sent an intimidating message to the professional wrestling champ at last week’s show. This is absolutely a plot line you will want to follow.

9/11/15 - Although WWE Raw aficionados are some of the most diehard fans on the planet, it seems the rest of the population may be growing bored with the spectacle. There was a massive drop in viewers this week, with only 3.39 million tuning in instead of the 3.89 million who watched last week’s installment. Ultimately, it was the worst rating the show has earned since New Year’s Eve. Fans shouldn’t get worried yet, as there were a few external factors that contributed to the poor ratings. Many people were traveling for Labor Day weekend, and those who weren’t may have been preoccupied with all of the NCAA football kickoff excitement. If you’re a true fan of WWE Raw, don’t let these statistics scare you. Instead, come to the next show and show your favorite wrestlers some love!

9/4/15 - Seth Rollins is set to defend both of his titles in upcoming matches with John Cena and Sting. Many WWE Raw fans are saying that Rollins was the big winner of Monday night's episode, but does he have what it takes to take on some of the biggest names in WWE? You can find out for yourself during September 20th's Night of Champions in Houston Texas. Tickets start at just $43. Of course, WWE Raw is still being held all across the country every week. Upcoming events will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, Memphis, Tennessee, and Laredo, Texas. The first Raw match is going to be on September 7th and tickets are still easy to get, starting as low as just $30. Get yours today.

8/28/15 - Most of the time, WWE Raw matches are works of art. They are expertly choreographed and aim to build the suspense and intensity before somebody wins the match with a signature finishing move. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite go as planned on the Monday night installment of Raw. The “Miz TV” segment was supposed to include tension among the members of PCB, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Paige. Each was supposed to plead her case for the opportunity to fight in the title match against Nikki Bella. PCB, who are usually a strong alliance, were supposed to create some drama in order to show to fans that their team may not be around for long. Come see how it all unfolds at the next Raw matchup on Monday in Tampa, FL.

8/21/15 - You are probably not used to seeing huge WWE Raw stars such as John Cena, Seth Rollins, Stardust and Armell take the back-burner in the serial Monday night competition, but that’s what happened on Aug. 17! The show happened in the lovely city of Minneapolis, where the rivalry between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar was, by far, the most entertaining part of the night. Trash-talking was in abundance, as usual, and included the Taker letting Lesnar know that he “will NEVER rest… in… peace.” The fun of Raw continues, this week the show will take place from Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. Upper-level seats are still available for $57 and up, but if you prefer to get closer to the action, you can snag seats in lower levels starting at $78.

8/14/15 - The WWE is trying to squash rumors that one of their executives had anything to do with remarks made about Kevin Owens’s weight on WWE Raw earlier this week. It was an awkward moment as Randy Orton walked into the ring and proceeded to ask his competitor, Kevin Owens, if he had put on weight while making hand gestures related to having a big belly. This did not sit well with fans, who already know that the wrestlers’ smack talk is scripted by the WWE. Looking for someone to blame for these unnecessarily harsh comments, rumors flew that Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn was responsible for the below-the-belt remarks. Both Dunn and Vince McMahon deny having anything to do with the controversy.

8/7/15 - There was no lack of respect for the late Rowdy Roddy Piper on Monday night’s WWE Raw. Hot Rod t-shirts were in abundance, and it is clear how much these guys will miss their mentor. The night was definitely more solemn, as the entire crew took a moment to remember the former champion and to watch a video in his honor. Adding to the night’s mellow feel was the fact that many of Raw’s central stories and rivalries were noticeably not in attendance. Ryback, Cena, Undertaker and Dolph Ziggler were all absent from the event, meaning that budding feuds got the attention they deserve. On Monday, Aug. 10, the fun continues in Everett, Washington at the Xfinity Arena. Tickets are on sale now starting at $48.

7/31/15 - Champions collided on WWE Raw this week, which opened with a big match as the Big Show took on Dean Ambrose, defeating him via count-out. The high-flying Neville came up with a victory over Fandango, scoring the pinfall after executing his Red Arrow finisher. NXT Women’s Champ Sasha Banks retained her title by taking down Paige, felling the challenger with the Bank Statement to close out the match. In a tag team bout, the Lucha Dragons scored a win over Los Matadores, followed by a women’s tag match wherein Charlotte & Becky Lynch prevailed over Alicia Fox & Nikki Bella. Randy Orton picked up a disqualification decision over Kevin Owens, and finally, John Cena kept the U.S. Title, besting Seth Rollins. WWE Raw heads to the SAP Center in San Jose on August 3rd—get your tickets starting at $35!

7/24/15 - One night after Backlash saw the return of the Undertaker in dramatic fashion, WWE Raw took the intrigue to another level. Charlotte continued carving her niche in the promotion, scoring a submission win over Brie Bella with her Figure-Eight Leglock. Los Matadores defeated the Prime Time Players in a non-title match, followed by the Big Show scoring a squash win over The Miz with a second-rope elbow drop. Roman Reigns scored a DQ victory over Luke Harper due to outside interference, Sasha Banks & Naomi bested Paige & Becky Lynch, and in the main event, Cesaro teamed with Randy Orton and John Cena to prevail over Rusev, Kevin Owens and Sheamus. WWE Raw heads to Oklahoma City on Monday the 27th. Get your tickets for Chesapeake Energy Arena now from $45!

7/17/15 - The Divas division took a big step forward on this week’s WWE Raw, as up-and-comers Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks made their debuts to much fanfare. Charlotte is the daughter of wrestling legend Ric Flair, who was said to be tearing up at finally seeing his little girl on the big stage. In match results, Cesaro overcame Kevin Owens and Rusev for the right to take on U.S. Champion John Cena, who went on to retain his title. Later, Cody Rhodes returned under the old guise of Stardust, taking the decision in his match against Neville. WWE action heads to Kansas City on July 20th as RAW takes over the Sprint Center in Missouri. Get your tickets now while they’re still available! Seats start at just $29.

7/10/15 - Fans at this week's WWE Raw got a little more action than they bargained for. Former WWE Champ Brock Lesnar ended up flinging a car door towards the spectators. He tore the passenger door off of a rival's gleaming Cadillac, which he had been trashing using some axes. The throw was completely unscripted, and the pieces of the door crashed into the first row. One fan was hit by a plastic liner, but was apparently unharmed and declined any further medical attention. Lesnar did not let the unscripted moment deter him from the show, and he quickly went back to the script, which ended with him slamming his opponent Joey Mercury into the automobile. The next WWE Raw show takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. You can get tickets for this show and the others, with prices starting at $24.

7/3/15 - There is always some sort of mystery about Monday night’s WWE Raw. The fans never know exactly what is going to happen and who is going to end up fighting in the ring. For the upcoming July 6 match, the intensity and anticipation is no different. The question about Monday night’s event is if Cody Rhodes will make his grand return after the unexpected death of his father on June 11. If he does return, will he be fighting as Cody Rhodes or as his alter ego, Stardust. The WWE had a lot of plans for Stardust in the works, but if the wrestler decides to fight as Cody Rhodes, a lot of changes have to be made in the forthcoming scripts. Get tickets for the next event in Rosemont, IL. They start at $31 a piece.

6/26/15 - The Beast is back on Monday night’s WWE Raw. Lesnar, also known as The Beast, was reinstated for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to wrestle against the one and only, Seth Rollins. This news was like setting a bomb off in the world of WWE Raw and many are already anticipating the championship. One of the greatest parts about the WWE Raw is the show travels all around the nation, providing you tons of opportunities to see your favorite wrestlers live. Get your tickets for any and all of the upcoming events. The Raw is appearing next in Washington DC on June 29, tickets starting at $29. Shortly after the crew packs up and heads to Rosemont, IL to perform at the Allstate Arena on July 6. Tickets are still available for that match and start at $30 each.

6/19/15 - Machine Gun Kelly provided an added dose of intrigue at the June 15th WWE Raw, turning in a live performance for the crowd before finding himself in a scrum with Kevin Owens. MGK would end up on the short end of the exchange, taking a powerbomb through the stage for his efforts. With the assistance of Ryback, the Miz picked up a win over the Big Show via countout and Kane took down Randy Orton in what became a No-Holds-Barred match following interference by Sheamus. In Divas competition, the Bella Twins scored a win over Paige before Neville and the Prime Time Players earned a victory in the main event over The New Day. Raw hits Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indiana on June 22nd and you can grab tickets starting at $36!

6/10/15 - This past week’s WWE Raw was once again a go-home edition of the show. US Champion John Cena opened the show with a challenge to Owens as part of a promotion for Sunday’s Money in the Bank event. Owens answered Cena by saying that they would let Neville choose who to battle. Neville chose to battle Owens for the NXT title and subsequently lost the battle. In the big showdown, J&J Security triumphed over Seth Rollins. Rollins is the current WWE Heavyweight champion, so the defeat by J&J Security surprised many viewers. If you wish to catch all the WWE Raw action live, you can catch it at an arena near you. The next match is on June 15 in Cleveland, Ohio, with tickets available starting at $43.

5/29/15 - Fans of WWE Raw in the Midwest are in luck. Following last week's bout in Virginia, the show is coming back for another series in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, and Louisiana. Be sure to get your tickets for any of the wrestling matches from June 1st to June 22nd. First up, WWE is coming to San Antonio, Texas to the AT&T Center. Tickets are available starting at just $36. Then they are headed to New Orleans to visit the Smoothie King Center. Tickets for June 8th's show are also still available starting at only $33. Do not miss this opportunity to see all your favorite wrestlers in action live. After June 22nd, they are headed back to the east coast, so get your tickets as soon as possible.

5/15/15 - WWE Raw was held in Cincinnati, OH on Monday, May 11 and was quite the spectacle. The event started off with Triple H announcing that “Daddy’s home,” which was followed by a rant about Kane. Triple H dares Kane to come out and face him, and instead Rollins appears. After a lot of back and forth banter, Kane appears and continues the debates. Later in the evening Cena takes on Neville and quickly hits Neville with a shoulder-block and side headlock. After numerous kicks, grabs and clothes lining each other, the two wrestlers get up wearily. Neville wins and ends the match with an extreme Red Arrow. If you are on the east coast get your tickets now for the upcoming WWE Raw match on Monday, May 18 in Richmond, VA. Tickets are still available starting at $33 a piece.

4/29/15 - The matches on April 27th gave fans some of the WWE Raw magic they expect every week. Roman Reigns came back strong, helping his goal to entering the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He teamed up with Randy Orton during the main event to fight against Seth Rollins and Kane. With his Superman punch to Rollins, he was able to pull out a RKO and win the match. He also was able to earn the right to challenge Rollins in May. He is now back in the main event, giving him a chance to vie for the title that he has yet to achieve. You can catch the action live at an arena near you. The next event is in Montreal at the Bell Centre on May 4, with prices starting at $43.

4/24/15 - Monday night WWE Raw always calls for an extreme amount of drama, trash talking and theatrical wrestling. April 20, 2015 was no exception and each match got the crowd riled up. One of the biggest showdowns was between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins who were discussing their terms for the upcoming Extreme Rules fight. Orton addresses the fact that Rollins has banned the RKO and continues to explain that without the RKO he will still cause Rollins an insane amount of bodily damage. Rollins retaliates by boasting about his ability to become the best WWE WHC ever. There was only the mincing of words between Orton and Rollins on Monday night, but there is much more to come during their Extreme Rules fight. See what happens with the entire WWE crew when they face off on April 27 in Green Bay, MI. Tickets start at $54.

4/17/15 - The WWE Raw returned to the ring on April 13, 2015 in London, England and it was thrilling in all sense of the word. There was much anticipation regarding the druthers of Kane. Was he going to turn on The Authority? Rollins and Kane had their fair share of stare downs during the match and Kane eventually lies down to be pinned. However, his mind is quickly changed and he throws Rollins off of him. After a bunch of chokeslams, teasing and hurling each other, Kane comes to his senses and lets Rollins pin him to end the match. Watch all of the drama unfold live at Times Union Center in Albany, NY on April 20, 2015. Tickets are still available to purchase and start at $38 a piece.

3/13/15 - Monday night’s WWE Raw match was nothing less of a spectacle in the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The big news of the night was when Kane introduced Randy Orton back to The Authority. This finally proved that Orton never left The Authority and was always a part of it. There was much debate about this news. Seth Rollins was even brave enough to say that it was all a bunch smoke and mirrors. The arguing continued to go back and forth and in between all of the talking there was plenty of slaps, stare downs and choke slams. The drama will continue for the next show down that is occurring at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA. Tickets for this grand event start at $47 a piece and go up to $90.

3/4/15 - WWE Raw has been around for over two decades, starting in 1993 and has continued to punch up its popularity year after year. The muscle train isn’t slowing down any time soon as they continue to tour the United States from now until June. 2/27/15 - WWE Raw is back, with the return of The Viper Randy Orton after three months out due to injury. He chose to rejoin the same faction that included the Authority and Seth Rollins, who he blames for his injury. The biggest news of the night was Roman Reigns, who teamed up with rival Daniel Bryan to secure victory over the Authority's Seth Rollins and Orton. This came just a day after he earned the ability to vie for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with Brock Lesnar. The trash talk for which WWE Raw is known remains, and the wrestlers have a grand plan in place as they head towards WrestleMania. Tickets to watch WWE Raw Live are on sale, with the next show at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on March, 2, with prices starting at $36.
