AAA 400 Tickets

AAA 400 Tickets are now on sale! The AAA 400, formerly the Dover 400, is the second race of The Chase for the Cup. One mistake at The Monster Mile could cost drivers valuable points. Dover International Speedway is one of the tougher courses—its concrete surface is not the easiest to race on, and only the best drivers prevail! In 2008, the speedway celebrated its 40th Anniversary season and unveiled plans to build a 46-foot Monster Monument. This, among other upgrades, makes trips to Dover even better! Don’t miss your chance to experience one of the more popular races on the schedule.

The second of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car races held at Dover International Speedway in Delaware, the AAA 400 hits the track on Sunday, September 28th this year. It is the third race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup with Jimmie Johnson taking last year’s win, making him the all-time leader in wins at the track. The track is called the Monster Mile for a reason as it’s the fastest one-mile racetrack in the world. Drivers turn laps at up to 170 mph at less than 23 seconds per lap. So fans don’t have to wait long for the cars to whip back around past them. The massive Monster Monument watches over the track and is a 46-foot tall fiberglass monster holding a full-sized car in his right hand. His eyes glow bright red creating an ominous, yet cool figure for fans to see and take pictures of.

The track also has another special feature, the Monster Bridge which extends over Turn 3 of the track and is the only structure of its kind in NASCAR. It serves as a luxury suite during race events, giving those inside the thrill of seeing cars travel under their feet at high speed, making the bridge one of the most exciting seats in sports. AAA 400 tickets are just $80 for seats near the start and finish, so don’t wait.
