Sure, the main event may not be taking place for another six months, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start getting excited about the annual Formula One Series: US Grand Prix! This year’s installment is set to kick off on Friday, October 21 and run through Sunday, October 23. The festivities will take place at the Circuit of the Americas in beautiful and funky Austin, TX. Although the Grand Prix is still many months away, you can already secure your seats to the race. Prices start as low as $19 for the opening event. Tickets for the final event on October 23 are currently priced at $166 and up. Don’t miss it!

Formula 1 race organizers have reset the date for the 2014 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, moving it up a couple weeks earlier, to Oct 31 - Nov 2. Circuit of the Americas confirmed the calendar change, which falls on the same weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup - AAA Texas 500 down the highway, at Forth Worth, so Austin will sure be busy. Make sure to grab your tickets and book flight and hotel soon! Aside from calendar changes, this championship will debut two more huge innovations: the highly anticipated new formula—a 1.6 litre turbocharged V6 engine (in place of the 2006-2013 2.4 litre V8 engine formula)—and the move of the finale, from its usual spot at Interlagos in Brazil, to Abu Dhabi on Nov 23. With all these fresh ideas and a brand new F1 look this year, you’ve go to make it out to Circuit of the Americas this time! Organizers encourage fans to enliven the “Keep Austin Weird” attitude and be there on Halloween day in costume to dress up the track and Fan Fest: tickets are just $71 on Oct 31. US Grand Prix tickets move up to $166 on Nov 1, and cap at $648 for the finale in Austin on Nov 2.

8/9/13 - The 2013 U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americans in Austin will take place November 15-17. It is the last race on the Formula One calendar before the season’s finale in Brazil. The Formula One schedule consists of 19 international races. Next year, the Grand Prix will stop in the United States twice, adding a second American F1 race in New Jersey to be called the Grand Prix of America. Grand Prix of America tickets are expected to be more expensive than this year’s U.S. Grand Prix tickets which are currently averaging $852 for a three-day pass. Prices for Grand Prix tickets have dropped $154 since last month for an all-weekend pass. The pass includes Friday’s practice sessions (avg. $125), Saturday’s practice and qualifying sessions (avg. $212), and Sunday’s races (avg. $622). Sunday Grand Prix race tickets prices are the only day passes to have seen an increase in average price in the last 30 days.

Premium seating includes reserved seats in the Main Grandstand, Turn 1, and Turn 15. Because they are in such high demand, Grand Prix tickets for reserved sections are pricey ranging between $648-$1373 for an all-weekend pass. Bleacher Grandstand US Grand Prix tickets range from $377-$991 and GA Grand Prix tickets from $198-$260. The average price of Grand Prix all-weekend passes are down from $1296 last year.
