The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Predators in their latest game on November 15. James van Riemsdyk had a hat trick to help the team defeat the Predators. This was after an eight-game dry spell during which he had not had a single goal. Adding to the final score of 6-2 were goals from Mitchell Marner, Leo Komarov and William Nylander. The Maple Leafs started out strong, ending the first period ahead 2-1. They kept their one-point lead until the third period, during which they grabbed three goals to secure the victory.
