The San Jose Sharks went into a game against the Carolina Hurricanes expecting to pick up a win or at least score some points against a lesser opponent. Unfortunately for Sharks fans, the team did neither. Hurricanes’ goalie Cam Ward got his first shutout in over a year and Carolina went on to win by a final of 1-0. The only goal of the game came off the stick of the Hurricanes’ Joakim Nordstrom late in the third period. San Jose will hope to see more offensive firepower as the team heads back to the Shark Tank for a lengthy home stand, including a game against the Chicago Blackhawks on November 23. Tickets for that showdown start as low as $45.

The San Jose Sharks were the better team for two of the three periods in a November 1 game against the Arizona Coyotes. Unfortunately, the Sharks only scored twice during those dominant stretches, while Arizona was able to put the puck in the net three times in the middle period. Arizona’s goalie managed to rack up 39 saves in the victory and stopped of flurry of shots that came in the game’s final minutes. San Jose is about to hit the road for a few games but will return to the Shark Tank on November 21 for a showdown with the New Jersey Devils. Tickets for that game are available starting as low as $20.

It’s never easy to win on the road, and it’s especially hard to steal games in a hostile environment when it comes down to the wire. Nonetheless, that’s exactly what the San Jose Sharks did in New York the other night, beating the Islanders by a score of 3-2 on Joe Pavelski’s game-winning goal with just over two minutes left in the third period. The Sharks used excellent road play last season to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, and the team is looking to repeat that success here in the 2016-2017 season. The Sharks will be at home to face the Columbus Blue Jackets on October 27, and tickets for that game start as low as $21.

The San Jose Sharks are preparing for the start of the 2016-2017 season, with only weeks until players head to training camp and the preseason games commence. After making it to the playoffs last season, the Sharks will be hungry to come home with the Stanley Cup this year. During the offseason, many lists of player and team rankings have been created, and one is the Top 25 under 25 list. The Sharks' Tomas Hertl ranks at the top of that list, thanks to his major impact on the team currently and in the future. The preseason starts on September 27 with a game against the Canucks in San Jose, and you can still get your tickets for $15.
