Edmonton Oilers Tickets

The Edmonton Oilers are going to look for a much better record than last season, which saw them not making the playoffs and ending last place in the Western Conference. They have said goodbye to Taylor Hall and brought in a few players to boost their performance on the ice, especially the defense. Coach Todd McLellan, goalie Cam Talbot and Connor McDavid will look to lead the team in a much stronger record for the 2016-2017 season. The Oilers have set their site on the playoffs. Be sure to get your tickets on Razorgator to watch the team battle it out with the rest of the NHL to see who will be the Stanley Cup champions.

The Edmonton Oilers have looked strong for most of the season, climbing to first place in the Pacific Division. Even so, they put on the performance of the year last night, shutting out fierce contenders the Chicago Blackhawks 5 - 0 at home. This is a scenario that rarely happens against the feisty Blackhawks, who are first in the Central Division, making the victory at home that much sweeter. Edmonton is now on a road trip until next Sunday, November 27, when they host the Arizona Coyotes. Come give the home team a warm welcome back at Rogers Place. Tickets to Sunday’s event are on sale for $52 and up.

In a battle between two of the better teams in the NHL, it looked for a moment as though the Edmonton Oilers were going to sneak away with a road victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Unfortunately for Oilers fans, Conor Sheary had other ideas. Edmonton entered the final period with a one-goal advantage, but Pittsburgh was able to tie the game with 5:33 left and then Sheary snuck the game winner into the net with less than two minutes remaining. The Oilers are still well above .500 and will look to get back to dominating Eastern teams when the Chicago Blackhawks come to town on November 21. Tickets for that game start at $70.

While it was the sun melting the ice that delayed the outdoor game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Winnipeg Jets on October 23, it was the Oilers that brought the heat when the puck finally dropped. After a scoreless first 20 minutes, Edmonton notched three goals in the second period en route to a 3-0 victory. The Oilers have started the 2016-2017 season playing exceptional defense and offense, and those efforts were clearly on display in the game against the Jets. The team will be away from Edmonton for a while before coming back on November 11 for a showdown with the Dallas Stars. Tickets for that game start as low as $78.

The Edmonton Oilers couldn’t have hoped to start the new season in the team’s new arena on a better note. While no hockey team ever wants to give up four goals in a game, the fact that the Oilers scored seven in the win over the Calgary Flames makes up for it. It was an exciting shootout that had the crowd on their feet. While the high point total makes it seem like a contested match, Edmonton had the game wrapped up in the second period. On October 20 the St. Louis Blues will be coming to town for what could be another high scoring affair. Tickets for that game start as low as $52.

The Edmonton Oilers are preparing for the start of the 2016-2017 season, and training camp is just a few weeks away. There have not been any new trades or contracts signed in the past few weeks. However, the team is trying to decide who should be the new captain of the team. Jordan Eberle, a veteran Oiler, might take up the role. However, it might also go to newly signed Milan Lucic or youngster Connor McDavid. The captain will be named within the next few weeks prior to the start of the season. The Oilers' first preseason game is set for September 26 in Calgary against the Flames. You can still get tickets, starting at just $6.
