The Chicago Blackhawks have hit a plateau in the last few weeks, mostly in part to injuries. Although Chicago has managed to keep up a winning pace without other players such as Jonathan Toews and Artem Anisimov, Marian Hossa’s recent absence has been a different story. Hossa was injured in a Dec. 20 game with Ottawa, and in the five games since, the ‘Hawks have only won once. The team seems hopeful that Hossa will make his return before too long, which will hopefully provide Chicago the boost that it needs. They’ll face the Buffalo Bruins this Thursday, Jan. 5, and the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday, Jan. 6. Both games will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, and we have tickets available now for $71 and up.

Just as it started to look like the San Jose Sharks were returning to Stanley Cup form, the Chicago Blackhawks showed everyone that this year’s champion could very well come from the Windy City. The Chicago Blackhawks might not have gotten off to particularly fast start in the 2016-2017 season, but the team has been making up for that in recent weeks. A 4-3 overtime victory against the Dallas Stars on November 6 provided Chicago with a sixth straight win and showed that the team is playing with a ton of confidence. Down by two goals in the final period, the Blackhawks were still able to tie the game and then withstand a Stars’ power play in overtime before scoring the winning goal. Chicago will spend most of November on the road before coming home to face the Florida Panthers on November 29. Tickets for that game start as low as $61.

The crowd went wild when the Chicago Blackhawks scored in the third period to tie the game against the Calgary Flames on October 24. Over an hour later, everyone went home deflated after watching the Blackhawks lose the game in a shootout. Chicago played well at both ends of the rink, but they failed to score in the first overtime period and then lost on Kris Versteeg’s goal in the seventh round of the shootout. Even though the team’s record isn’t flashy, the Blackhawks have played well in the early going. The team will look to rattle off some wins in early November, starting with a game against the Colorado Avalanche on November 3. Tickets for that matchup start at $57.

The 2016-2017 season didn’t open on a high note for the Chicago Blackhawks, as the team dropped its first game to the St. Louis Blues by a score of 5-2. The players and coaching staff have admitted that there’s little good to take away from the first game, claiming that the players were lacking in both energy and poise. Part of the issue is that the Hawks are starting quite a few young players, so there are bound to be some growing pains in the early going. Chicago will look to work out the kinks in the next few games. On October 22 the team plays host to the Toronto Maple Leafs and tickets for that game start at $100.

The Chicago Blackhawks missed out on two powerhouse players when Jimmy Vesey and Jiri Hudler, who went to the Rangers and the Stars respectively. Although they might miss out on some talent, it does not mean they cannot still have a great season. They will still want to find a forward to boost their roster, but they might also find some talent already in house to fill their needs. There is a rumor circulating that the Blackhawks might be bringing in a new assistant coach this year. Training camp and preseason games are just around the corner. The Blackhawks start their preseason with a game at home against the Penguins on September 28. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at $34.
