San Francisco 49ers News

A long season is almost over for the San Francisco 49ers. Just four years removed from a Super Bowl appearance and three years after an NFC title game, the 49ers have the NFC’s worst record at 1-10. After opening the season by blanking the LA Rams 28-0, San Francisco has dropped 10 straight. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has retaken the reins of the offense after getting benched earlier in the season. The veteran signal caller has put up solid numbers, but his efforts haven’t been enough to prevent the losses from piling up. In its last game, San Francisco fell to Miami 31-24. The 49ers next take on the Bears in Chicago this Sunday.

The latest loss came at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals, but things didn’t look all bad for the Niners. Colin Kaepernick performed well, averaging more than five yards a throw. The defense forced four Arizona turnovers, but a field goal with time running out put the Cardinals up 26-23. Although San Francisco walked away with another loss, they do have some momentum heading into Week 11’s huge game against the Patriots. Don’t miss Sunday’s game at Levi’s Stadium—we have tickets on sale now for $118 and up!

He and the rest of the 49ers come off a bye in Week 8 and are looking to get make the most of their 1-7 season this week against the Saints. San Francisco answers the question, “Does your city’s football tame have to tank for its baseball team to thrive?” Unfortunately for football fans, that answer seems to be, “Yes.” Although the Giants made a run for the World Series, the San Francisco 49ers are ready to make a run for next season. They now sit with a 1 - 6 record. Those six losses have come in a streak since the first game of the season. The most recent came at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who beat the 49ers handily 34 - 17. Find out if they can turn things around this Sunday, when the Saints come to town. Tickets are $40.

The San Francisco 49ers still have not won a game since their season opener against the Rams back in September. Their latest loss came against the Bills on October 16, where they lost 16-45. The 49ers were in the game for the first half, heading into the locker room behind by just four points. However, the Bills took control of the second half, especially in the fourth quarter where they were able to score 21 points. Colin Kaepernick started for the first time in almost a year, completing 13 of 29 passes for 187 yards. The 49ers will look to break their losing streak when they host the Buccaneers on October 23. You can still get tickets for prices starting at $31.

With just one win so far this year, it will be an all uphill battle to the postseason for the San Francisco 49ers. After losing to the Cardinals 33-21 last Thursday, the ‘Niners are dead last in the NFC West and ranked 29th overall in the NFL. Without Colin Kaepernick, the team has had to rely on Blaine Gabbert, who has passed for more interceptions than touchdowns. For Week 6, San Francisco is gearing up to play the Bills, who have won the last three in a row. The game will be held at New Era Field in Buffalo, New York, and we have a great selection of tickets on sale now! Get yours soon—our prices currently start at $103.

The San Francisco 49ers struggled yet again this week as they dropped to the Cowboys 24-17 Sunday. The loss was just another blow to the ‘Niners, who are now at just 1-3 after the first month of the NFL season. Adding insult to injury, the team will also be without NaVorro Bowman for the rest of the season after he sustained an Achilles injury in the game. Unfortunately for fans everywhere, the San Francisco 49ers have not been able to follow up their impressive display over the Los Angeles Rams in the first game of the season with any further wins. Last weekend, Quarterback Colin Kaepernick and the rest of the team fell to the Seattle Seahawks on the road, losing the contest 18 - 37. This week, they will head home to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers need all the support they can get at this homecoming, so be sure to be at Levis Stadium this Sunday! Tickets to the game are already on sale and available for prices starting as low as $57.

Opening day was a success for the San Francisco 49ers, who extended their Week 1 victory streak to six years and counting. Welcoming new California residents the Los Angeles Rams to Levi’s Stadium on Monday, the Niners won handily, shutting out their opponents 28-0. The defensive was particularly effective, holding the Rams to just 185 yards of offense and intercepting twice, both of which resulted in San Francisco touchdowns. The 49ers will play the next two games on the road, with the first happening this Sunday, Sept. 18. The Carolina Panthers will host the event at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, and tickets are on sale now! Prices currently start at $77.

With the preseason over and the quarterback controversy done for the time being, Chip Kelly is ready to take these San Francisco 49ers players out on the field and see what they can really do. At a glance, the team has all the talent it needs to compete. Navarro Bowman is still one of the best linebackers in the game, and Carlos Hyde can be a star in this league if he gets the right opportunities. Whatever question marks surround Blaine Gabbert have been somewhat muted by a strong showing in the preseason, so 9er fans have reason to be optimistic. The next home game will be against the hated Dallas Cowboys on October 2, and tickets start as low as $185.

While there’s plenty of drama surrounding Colin Kaepernick off the field, the San Francisco 49ers did an excellent job of limiting the on-field drama as the team made its way through the preseason. In the third preseason game, Blaine Gabbert went toe to toe with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, ending the first half locked in a 7-7 tie. While the 9ers went on to lose the game, both the offense and defense showed a lot of excellent play and left fans feeling optimistic about the rest of the season. 2016 kicks of on September 12 with the 49ers hosting the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, and tickets start at just $75.

It’s been a while since Christian Ponder has gotten playing time, but with a brand new deal with the San Francisco 49ers, he may just get another chance. The quarterback hasn’t thrown a pass since 2014 when he was with the Vikings, but he has plenty of starting experience that should prove useful on the field. With Colin Kaepernick’s dead arm and Thad Lewis’ season-ending knee injury, the ‘Niners are desperate for backup and are hopeful that Ponder and Blaine Gabbert can fill the role. San Francisco takes on the Broncos in preseason play this Saturday, Aug. 20, at Sports Authority Field in Denver. Tickets from us are currently running just $38 and up.

Blaine Gabbert’s 43-yard touchdown pass got the full attention of the San Francisco 49ers during Sunday’s preseason opener against the Houston Texans. With Colin Kaepernick recovering from a sore shoulder, Gabbert got a lot of playing time and valuable experience, despite the 49ers’ 24-13 loss. With Chip Kelly taking over this year as head coach, it’s anyone’s guess as to what the season will bring. Will Gabbert take over the starting role or will Kapernick get another chance? Follow the San Francisco 49ers as they head into their second preseason game this week against the Denver Broncos. Be there on Saturday (Aug. 20) by purchasing your tickets now for $56 and up!

This week, San Francisco 49ers’ coach Chip Kelly was ranked 11th out of all the NFL coaches by USA Today. Despite his history with the Eagles, the coach still was able to have a strong offense and decent record despite lackluster quarterbacks. He is now in San Francisco looking to prepare them for a strong 2016 season. He has two quarterbacks ready to start for him: Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert. During the offseason, Gabbert has been playing with the starting string, while Kaerpernick continues to heal from injuries and has yet to be medically cleared for practice. The rest of the team is likewise starting to prepare for the coming season. Fans can already get tickets, with prices starting at $16.
