New York Jets News

The New York Jets put forth a valiant effort when the team hosted the New England Patriots on November 27. Unfortunately, scoreboards and season records don’t care about valiance and the 22-17 loss dropped the Jets to 3-8 on the season. There’s been a lot of inconsistent play at quarterback and in the receiving department for New York in 2016 and those positions will surely be addressed when the offseason rolls around. The Jets still have a few home games in which the team can try to save face, starting with a divisional game against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, December 17. Tickets for that matchup are available starting as low as $23.

As the New York Jets prepared for Week 10 against the Rams, they once again came up with a conservative game plan, a decision which may have cost them the win. This is a criticism that many have made about the New York team all season long, with many saying it is a strategy that simply does not make sense. At 3-7, the Jets should be doing all they can to add wins to their column, and at this point, what do they have to lose? That’s a question many asked as they watched their team lost 6-9 to Los Angeles in Week 10. The Jets have a bye for Week 11, but you can get tickets for their Nov. 27 game against the Patriots from us now for just $61 and up!

It was another rough week for the New York Jets, who visited Miami to take on the Dolphins last Sunday. For a moment, it looked like the Jets would continue their two-game winning streak. They took the early lead in the first quarter, but were unable to fend off Ryan Tannehill and the rest of the home team in the end. New York went home with a brutal 23 - 27 defeat. Perhaps the home crowd can cheer them up this Sunday, as the Jets will return home to square off with the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium. Tickets are on sale and available for prices as low as $41.

The New York Jets got another win when they beat the Browns on October 30. The Browns dominated the first half, only letting the Jets get 106 yards, and the teams headed to the locker room with the Browns ahead 20-7. Then, the Jets rallied and scored 14 in the third quarter and added another 10 to narrowly beat the Browns 31-28. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 16 of 34 attempts for a total of 228 yards and one touchdown. He also had consecutive touchdown drives that went 78, 84, and 81 yards respectively. The Jets head to Miami to play the Dolphins on November 6. There's still time to get your tickets. Prices start at just $18.

If there is any team in the NFL that has had a cringe worthy season so far it is the New York Jets. Until last week, the Jets had lost their last four games in a row and it was looking like they might never get another win this season. Luckily for them, they had a good game against the Baltimore Ravens on October 23. Matt Forte helped the Jets get the win by rushing 100 yards throughout the game. The final score was 24-16 for the Jets. See what next week bring when the Jets take on the Cleveland Browns, a team who has yet to win a game this season.

As the New York Jets watch their season spiral more and more out of control, it has become very clear that something must change. The Jets have gone four weeks without a win, their most recent loss coming at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals. Desperate for a change, Coach Todd Bowles and the rest of the coaching staff have decided to make Geno Smith the new starting quarterback. He’ll replace Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has 10 interceptions and no touchdowns to speak of so far this season. Hopefully this will give the Jets the spark they need to improve on their 1-5 record. New York will host the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday, Oct. 23. Great tickets are available now starting at $52.

The New York Jets had another devastating loss when they played the Steelers on October 9. The Jets started out strong, leading for a time in the second quarter until the Steelers scored in the final two minutes before halftime to lead by just one. However, they were unable to get any points in the second half and allowed the Steelers to rack up 17 for a 13-31 final score. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 25 of 38 passes for 265 yards and no interceptions. The Jets head to Arizona next to play the Cardinals on Monday, October 17. Then, they return home to host the Ravens on October 23. There is still time to get tickets, with prices for the Cardinals game starting at just $2.

It’s not an easy season to be the New York Jets. They followed up their 3 - 24 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago with a 17 - 27 loss against the Seattle Seahawks last week. The result was a shock to many, as Seattle has not looked particularly strong since the season started. Nonetheless, Russell Wilson was able to find his stride this time. The Jets are now 1 - 3 and face the intimidating prospect of a clash with Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road this week. They won’t return home until October 23, in fact, when they host the Baltimore Ravens. Tickets to that game are $38 and up.

After beating the Bills, the New York Jets suffered another loss when they played the Chiefs on Sunday, September 25. The Jets struggled to score and only had one field goal in the second quarter. This was largely due to an impressive defense effort on the Chiefs' end, forcing eight turnovers and intercepting three passes. This was the highest number of turnovers the Jets have had since 1976. Matt Forte was only able to rush for 65 yards and Ryan Fitzpatrick went 20 for 44 for a total of 188 yards. The Jets head back home to host the Seahawks on October 2. Don’t miss out on the action and get your tickets now. Prices start at $41.

Until recently, the strength of the New York Jets was the defensive squad. In 2016, however, the team is showing that it wants to win by putting points on the board. In a Thursday night showdown against the Buffalo Bills, the Jets put up 37 points en route to a 37-31 victory over its division rival. Matt Forte continued to thrill Jets fans, compiling 100 yards and three touchdowns, while Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for nearly 400 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. On October 2, the New York offense will have its work cut out for it as the Seattle Seahawks come to town. Tickets for that game start at $81.

There were a handful of teams that lost heartbreaking games in the first week of the NFL season, and the New York Jets were among those unlucky few. Up late against the Cincinnati Bengals in the home opener, the Jets defense couldn’t outlast the Bengals offense and New York ended up losing on a late field goal. Matt Forte played very well in his first game as a Jet, and the rest of the team had a good showing as well, just not quite enough to get the win. The next home game will be on October 2 when the Seattle Seahawks come to MetLife Stadium, and tickets start as low as $76. With a veteran squad like the one that the New York Jets will be fielding in 2016, the preseason isn’t all that telling. Now, as the games begin to matter, fans will really get to see what this team is really about. Most eyes will be on Matt Forte in the early going, as this former Bears’ running back brings an enormous amount of talent into the Jets’ backfield. As long as Ryan Fitzpatrick and stud wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are connecting, this offense should be able to attack teams from all angles. After a slew of road games, the Jets will play host to the Seahawks on October 2, with tickets starting at $85.

With the 2016 season about to start, the New York Jets are a bit of an enigma. The young receivers still have to prove themselves, but there seems to be a fair amount of talent and depth with this group of pass catchers. Journeyman QB Ryan Fitzpatrick pieced together a nice season for the Jets in 2015, though Geno Smith could take over the starting job pretty quickly if Fitzy should falter. The Jets roster looks intriguing and promising, and fans will learn a lot after the team’s first game on September 11, when the Jets D will try to slow down Andy Dalton and the Bengals. Tickets for the season opener start at $60.

If Marcus Williams could have a similar season as he had last year, almost all New York Jets fans would be thrilled. Matching his performance is not good enough for Williams, however, as he’s spent the offseason working to improve his game and getting ready to make even more big plays. While of course forcing more fumbles, getting more tackles and making more recoveries would be great, Williams has stated that his motives for personal improvement is to help his team make the playoffs this season. Watch the Jets play this Friday, Aug. 19, at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. They’ll be taking on the Redskins in preseason play and tickets are on sale now for $8.

Practices are in full swing for the New York Jets, and this week several players have emerged to stand out from the rest. Geno Smith showcased his accurate passing abilities, lofting a perfect pass to wide receiver Chandler Worthy during practice Sunday, and Calvin Pryor showed promise at safety, intercepting a pass intended for Jalin Marshall during a team drill. One point of concern this offseason has been the five injured running backs currently sidelined due to injury. How will the New York Jets fare this season? Come see for yourself this Friday, Aug. 19, as they face the Washington Redskins. Tickets are on sale now for only $9 and up!

Can you believe the start of the NFL pre-season is less than 10 weeks away? It’s true! For the New York Jets, the 2016-2017 action will kick off on Thursday, August 11, when they play the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars at MetLife Stadium. Although the opening game is still a couple of months in the future, tickets are already available for purchase. In fact, you can reserve your seats right now for as little as $5. That’s a steal to catch the start of football season. The Jets play their first regular season game on Sunday, September 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Tickets to that match are $56 and up.

New York Jets Matchups

Jets vs Patriots Tickets

The Jets and Patriots offer a rivalry similar in scope and effect to that of Major League Baseball’s Red Sox-Yankees rivalry. These two teams are not on friendly terms. The Patriots may have the current edge in the rivalry but the Jets have had their own share of dominance, specifically in the 1970’s and 1990’s. The rivalry was last at its hottest when coaches Bill Belichick and Rex Ryan were trading barbs in the media from 2009 to 2014. Lately the rivalry has cooled a bit but the Jets have the latest win, taking the W against the Pats on December 27th by a score of 26 to 20. The Jets will have to be ready as they play host to the Patriots on November 27th at MetLife Stadium.

Jets vs Bills Tickets

The Jets and Bills have a rivalry dating back to when they played their first game on September 11th in 1960 when the Jets beat the Bills by a score of 27 to 3. The rivalry has gone back and forth since then, with the Bills having a slight advantage in the overall win-loss column. The Jets have their Super Bowl win to hang their hat on and show no signs of their desire waning. The Jets will have to be ready as they play host to the Bills on New Year’s Day at MetLife Stadium.

Jets vs Dolphins Tickets

The Jets and Dolphins have a fierce rivalry dating back to 1966 when the Jets beat the Dolphins in their first meeting by a score of 19-14. Since then the Jets have accrued a winning record of 53-47-1 over their rivals in South Beach. While the Dolphins dominated the series in the seventies and eighties, it is the Jets who have held sway with a winning record in the 2000’s and the 2010’s. If the Jets are to take the AFC East division title this year they’ll need to be ready as they play host to the Dolphins on December 17th at MetLife Stadium.
