New Orleans Saints News

Despite the difference in rankings, many predicted that the No. 22 New Orleans Saints could best the No. 7 Denver Broncos in Week 10’s matchup. A 32-yard pass from Drew Brees found Brandin Cooks in the end zone, a play which tied the game with less than two minutes to play. All the Saints had to do was get the extra point, but a blocked kick led to the Broncos running the ball 84 yards to win the game. Many believe that the runner stepped out of bounds, but ultimately the argument made no difference. Despite the disappointment, New Orleans should feel confident about their abilities going forward. They’ll face the Panthers this Thursday, Nov. 17, at Bank of America Stadium. Our tickets prices start at just $40.

The New Orleans Saints started their season off in a very rough way. They lost their first three games in a row making the team and their fans desperate for a win. Luckily, the Saints pulled off a big W when they defeated the San Diego Chargers on October 2. Since then, things have started to look up. The Saints have won their last four of five games, including their game last week against the San Francisco 49ers. The Saints played one of their best games of the season, beating the 49ers 41-23. See if the Saints can keep up the victories when they take on the successful Denver Bronco on November 13. Tickets are still available from Razorgator.

A significant upswing has the New Orleans Saints in a competitive spot in the NFC South after starting the season at 0-3. Thanks to successful changes made by coaching staff and managers, the Saints have managed to turn things around, winning three of the last four. Sunday’s 25-20 win over the Seahawks started a bit shaky for New Orleans, who allowed their opponents to score in the first quarter after a fumble from running back Mark Ingram. Tim Hightower was called in to replace Ingram and finished with 26 carries for over 100 yards. Up next, the Saints take a trip to San Francisco for a Sunday, Nov. 6, matchup against the Niners. Tickets are available now for $35 and up.

Just when it looked like the New Orleans Saints finally had some steam going, they go and blow it against the Kansas City Chiefs. Drew Brees and the Saints had put on a powerful performance against the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago, going score for score and winning the shootout game 41 - 38. Last Sunday, however, New Orleans simply could not keep pace with Kansas City, losing the match 21 - 27 on the road. This week, the Saints are back in New Orleans and ready to host the Seattle Seahawks. Tickets to the October 30 showdown at Mercedes-Benz Superdome are currently on sale and available for $67 and up.

The New Orleans Saints added another win to their record when they beat the Panthers on October 16 with a final score of 41-38. The game was close, ending with Will Lutz scoring a 52-yard field goal with just 11 seconds left. Drew Brees completed 34 of 49 passes for an impressive 465 yards and four touchdowns. This made for his 15th game to go more than 400-yards, breaking his tie with Peyton Manning for the most in a regular season. This gives the Saints thier second win in a row, after losing their first three games of the season. The Saints will look to add another when they play the Chiefs in Kansas City on October 23. You can still get tickets for $32 and up.

As the players for the New Orleans Saints rested during their Week 5 bye, coaches were busy trying to come up with a plan to help turn the season around. Defensively, the Saints are having a particularly tough time with putting pressure on the opposing quarterback, and that’s one of the issues they addressed at practice this week. Coaches brought in a large group of linebackers and defensive ends to see who might be a good fit to help the team. For Week 6, the Saints are back in action and will welcome the Carolina Panthers to the Superdome on Sunday, Oct. 16. Tickets can be yours today for $47 and up.

It’s been a troubling first month of the season for the New York Giants, who are not where they want to be with a 2-2 record. In last week’s loss to the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, the Giants failed to force turnovers and simply had too many penalties, including a call for taunting on Odell Beckham before halftime. Other mistakes by the special teams meant that New York was down 14-0 heading into the second half, and things didn’t look much better after that. In Week 5, the Giants hope to fix some of their problems before they head to Lambeau Field to play the Packers this Sunday, Oct. 9. Tickets for that game are available now starting at $132.

A close game isn’t what the New Orleans Saints were going for as they faced the Chargers last week, but it sure made an exciting game for the audience! Down by 13 with less than five minutes on the clock, the Saints had luck on their side and recovered two San Diego turnovers. Drew Brees then led his team on a fourth quarter rally, scoring two touchdowns and helping his team overtake the Chargers 35-34. The Saints have a bye this week, so they won’t be back in action until Week 6 when they take on the Carolina Panthers at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Be prepared for that exciting matchup by purchasing your tickets now! Prices currently start at just $56.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are off to one of the roughest starts of the season in recent history. Although they are still making great plays and reaching the end zone offensively, the defense seems to be unable to stop opponents from doing the same. They most recently lost in a blowout at home against the Atlanta Falcons, losing the match 32 - 45. Chances aren’t much better this week, when the Saints head to San Diego to take on the Chargers. Even more bleak is the following game, which will be against the ferocious Carolina Panthers at home on October 16. Tickets to that game are $54 and up.

The New Orleans Saints have experienced a rough start to the season, losing their first two games by just a few points. Their latest game was in New York against the Giants on September 18, where they lost 13-16. The Saints went into the fourth quarter behind 10-3 and rallied, scoring ten points and tying the game twice. With just three minutes left to play, the two teams were tied. However, the Giants scored a field goal to win the game. Drew Brees completed 29 of 44 passes for a total of 263 yards and one touchdown. The team heads back home to host the Falcons on September 26, and you can still get tickets. Prices start at $52.

Week 1 of the NFL brought a tough loss to the New Orleans Saints, courtesy of the Oakland Raiders. The 35-34 final score was indicative of what the Saints have been lacking in recent years—a decent pass rush. With not a single sack and a mere three hits on the quarterback in the season opener Sunday, head coach Sean Payton spoke of the team’s need to hone in on that aspect of their game. The Saints will have their chance to redeem themselves when they travel to New York to facet the Giants this Sunday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is at 1:00 PM, so don’t be late—get your tickets from us today for $118 and up. The matchup of the Atlanta Falcons vs. the New Orleans Saints is one that fans of both teams look forward to all year. These two teams have been competitive in the NFC South for a long time, and supporters from both cities feel like their team should finish atop the division this year. As the sun sets on Drew Brees’ amazing career, he doesn’t have that many more chances to conquer Matt Ryan and the falcons when they visit the Superdome. That’s part of what makes this early Monday night matchup so special, when the Falcons come to New Orleans on September 26. Tickets for this primetime game start as low as $62.

The New Orleans Saints charged the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 27 for one of their preseason games. However, from the first snap, the Saints struggled both offensively and defensively. Drew Brees had troubles with his offensive line all night. The Saints starting left tackle, Terron Armstead, picked up his stuff and left unannounced after the first half, which didn’t help the offense in the slightest. Brees was able to finish off 9 of 12 passes, but it only allotted to 78 yards total. The Saints start their season mid-September and are hoping to be able to pull everything together in time for their home opener against the Oakland Raiders. Get your tickets today.

Fans of the New Orleans Saints are breathing a sigh of relief this week after learning that their first-round draft pick won’t be out as long as originally expected. Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins was injured in the Saints’ opener against the Patriots last week, and many were saying it would be a season-ending injury. After undergoing surgery, team representatives have stated that Rankins will be out six to eight weeks, meaning he could be ready to play by mid-October. Until then, the Saints will rely on Nick Fairley, Bobby Richardson and David Onyemata to cover at the defensive tackle position. New Orleans will head to Houston this Saturday, Aug. 20, to face the Texans in preseason play. Tickets are on sale now!

Having too many strong players in one position is an enviable problem for any NFL team, and it’s one the New Orleans Saints are facing this offseason. Their running game is the strongest it’s been in years, and the Saints are hoping that, along with their notoriously successful passing game, the run will help them to have a booming offense. New Orleans made their preseason debut Wednesday in a 34-22 loss to the Patriots, and will face their second opponents of the preseason—the Houston Texans—on Saturday, Aug. 20, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Come cheer on the Saints as they showcase their brand new offense! Tickets are on sale now for $38 and up.

As the New Orleans Saints make changes during the offseason, they might find some relief in their salary cap. Months ago, Brandon Browner announced that he would be leaving the Saints, and he subsequently signed with the Seahawks. Although it has been three months since his official release, the Saints now will see the relief in their books. By having it a post-June 1 release order, they have the choice to push half of the remaining salary cap burden to the 2017 season instead. This helps them to have a bit of breathing space money wise to bring in some free agents before next season. Fans can already purchase tickets to see the Saints in action, with prices starting at $18.
