Green Bay Packers News
It’s be a rough year for the Green Bay Packers. Losers of four games in a row, time is running out for the Packers to position themselves for playoff contention. Heading into their Nov. 27 game at Philadelphia, the Packers were 4-6 in the NFC North, 2 ½ games behind division-leading Detroit and 1 ½ games behind second place Minnesota.
In its last game, Green Bay struggled defensively, giving up 42 points in an 18-point loss the Washington. In fact, the Packers have allowed 42 points or more in back-to-back games and 30 points in four straight contests. The offensive has been solid, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers passing for more than 2,600 yards on the season.
The Green Bay Packers have been a force to be reckoned with for at least a handful of seasons, but this year they’re really struggling. They’re in third place in the NFC North standings and are going to have to fight tooth and nail to make it into the playoffs. On November 6 the Packers stormed Lambeau Field against the Indianapolis Colts with odds in the Packers favor. Unfortunately for the Packers, the Colts were on point offensively and outscored the Packers by 14 points in the first half. The Packers charged back during the last two quarters, but the deficit was too great to come back from. See if the Packers can recover when you purchase your tickets for their next game.
A one-point loss to the Falcons this week was not only uncharacteristic of the Green Bay Packers, but also pushed them down one spot to No. 7 in the NFL power rankings in Week 9. With their best running backs and a slew of other starter sidelined with injuries, the Packers still managed to hold their own and maintain a 6-point lead through most of the fourth quarter. With 30 seconds on the clock, Matt Ryan’s touchdown pass gave the Falcons the edge in the Sunday game. Green Bay looks to break back into the top five teams this week as they have home field advantage over the Colts. Tickets start at $175 for the Sunday, Nov. 6, game—get yours now!
Even though the Green Bay Packers have looked slightly sloppy in recent games, they still have one of the best records in the league. They added another victory to those credentials last Thursday, when Lambeau Field hosted the visiting Chicago Bears. Historically, this is an intense rivalry game that is known to go either direction. Last week, however, the Packers proved they were in total control, sealing the win 26 - 10 and looking good doing it. This week, they will hit the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons. They return to Lambeau on Sunday, November 6 for a battle with the Indianapolis Colts. Tickets are $179 and up.
The Green Bay Packers lost to the Cowboys this week, bringing their record to 3-2. Aaron Rodgers had 31 of 42 passes for a total of 294 yards, which was a season high. However, the team could not capitalize on his passes and struggled to find the end zone. The Packers only managed to get a couple field goals in the first half. They finally managed a touchdown in the fourth quarter and added another field goal, but it was not enough to get ahead of the 30 points they gave up to the Cowboys. They host the Bears on Thursday, October 20. You can still get tickets to this game and the rest in the season, with prices starting at $29.
It was not the most impressive display of the season, but with the 23-16 win over the Giants, the Green Bay Packers improve to 3-1 after Week 5’s home game at Lambeau Field. At times, quarterback Aaron Rodgers had trouble moving the ball against a tough New York defense and completed just 23 out of 45 passes. The Green Bay defense was strong against Eli Manning, however, and both teams showed a tremendous amount of strength in the secondary. The Packers will play at home again this Sunday, Oct. 16, against the Dallas Cowboys. This should be a great game between two tough and competitive teams. Tickets are available for $212 and up.
An early bye came at just the right time for the Green Bay Packers. Taking last week off meant that Green Bay could focus on resting and getting banged-up players ready to take the field again. Monday’s practice was a sight for sore eyes as a mostly healthy group of players took the field for a solid 90 minutes, including several key defensive players. Morgan Burnett, Letroy Guion, Clay Mattews and Datone Jones missed Week 3’s win over the Lions due to injury, and having them back for Sunday’s game against the Giants is key. Tickets for the Oct. 9 game at Lambeau Field are available from us now! Prices start at $132.
The Green Bay Packers are brushing off that close loss two Sundays ago against the Minnesota Vikings with a follow-up win last weekend. Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the team took on the Detroit Lions and, although it was a close game with the possibility of a tie at the end of the fourth quarter, the Pack managed to take home the win 34 - 27. This Sunday they will have an early bye week before returning to Lambeau Field to host the New York Giants on October 9. Tickets to that game are already on sale and available for purchase for prices starting as low as $29.
The Green Bay Packers narrowly lost their second game when they played the Vikings on September 18. Aaron Rodgers completed 20 of 36 passes for a total of 213 yards and one touchdown. He also scored a rushing touchdown. The Packers' left Rodgers open to get sacked a total of five times, which led to two turnovers. This ended any hope of a rally late in the game, although they were able to score in the fourth quarter to get within three. The Packers finally have their home opener on September 25 when they host the Lions. There is still time to get your tickets so you can catch the action in person. Ticket prices start at just $24.
Which of the 32 NFL franchises has the best fans? Although each team would likely make a strong case, it’s the Green Bay Packers that take the cake. Green Bay fans attend the most games, buy the most merchandise and have the highest numbers of TV viewers on game day. Also, Packers fans have been known to pick out caskets with the lining done in green and yellow, and some have even changed their names to reflect their loyalty! There’s something special about rooting for Green Bay, and you can see it all for yourself when you buy tickets for their next game! This Sunday, Sept. 18, they’ll face their biggest rivals, the Minnesota Vikings. Get your tickets now for $182 and up.
The Green Bay Packer will head to Jacksonville soon to get ready to play their season opener game against the Jaguars on September 11. The defense is ready to make 2016 their year to shine. It is a more mature and experienced group of players than the team had last year. However, there will be one notable rookie starting: inside linebacker Blake Martinez. He will be the one wearing the helmet and calling the signals for the defense. Coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic about the defense of the team, expecting them to do much better than at the end of last season. You can still get tickets to see the opening game in Florida for prices starting at $76.
There has been big news for the Green Bay Packers this week in regards to their punting position. The Packers decided to let go of their punter, Tim Masthay, when they received a waiver claim on Jacob Schum. Schum was the punter for Tampa Bay last year, but was cut this summer because he wasn’t able to keep up with Bryan Anger, who is the Buccaneers new punter. See if Schum can give the Packers what they are looking for in the kicking department when the Packers start their season. Tickets for any upcoming game are still available, so get yours today before the season passes by. Razorgator has any seat you might be on the hunt for.
It is the third week of preseason, which means many of your favorite starting Green Bay Packers players will be returning to the field. Unfortunately, they won’t step foot on Lambeau Field until the third week of regular season. For their regular season dress rehearsal, they will head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to see significant game time, as is star defender Clay Matthews. Although you will still have to wait several weeks to see Green bay at home, you can already reserve your seat to the festivities on September 25 when the Detroit Lions come to town. Tickets start at $48.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is listed as active for tonight’s game against the visiting Oakland Raiders, but don’t expect to see him play. Nelson, along with myriad other starters, will be sitting out tonight in order to rest up for the regular season. This is a standard procedure in the league, so fans need not worry. While Jordy may not be there, you can still expect to see the Packers’ depth in action with new draft picks and recent trade acquisitions. Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Pack return to Lambeau Field on Sunday, September 25 for their regular season opener against the Detroit Lions. Tickets are $48 and up.
The Green Bay Packers have been one of the biggest and best teams in the NFL for the past few seasons, but last year the fell short. They were missing their biggest wide receiver Jordy Nelson due to a huge injury and Eddie Lacy didn't play up to his potential either. Many said that Lacy was out of shape and slow, but this season Laxy is looking sharper than a tack. He has worked hard at losing weight and has even said that he feels quicker and more explosive than ever. He only carried the ball four times in the preseason opener on Friday, but is sure to play more as time goes on. See what happens when the Packers real season begins in September. Tickets are still up for grabs so don't miss your chance.
Win or lose, the Green Bay Packers have the support of the fans. However, the people of Wisconsin might start to lose their patience if the Pack has another showing like they did last season. While there’s no clear frontrunner in the NFC North, only the Packers have a quarterback as good as Aaron Rodgers. As the Vikings look to prove that last season wasn’t a fluke, Rodgers and Green Bay will look to prove the exact opposite and return to the playoffs as the division winner. Fans who want to get in on the preseason action can watch the Packers host the Browns on August 12, with tickets starting as low as $19.
Even though it seems like the NFL season just ended, all teams are ramping up again to prep for the upcoming season. The Green Bay Packers are one team that will need to work hard on their offensive lineup in order to be successful this year. Last year they suffered a tough loss when their number one wide receiver, Jordy Nelson tore his ACL. Nelson will be back this season and so will Randall Cobb who was the main target last season. The Packers are coming back under the powerhouse, Aaron Rodgers and are hoping with his help and the return of Nelson that they will be able to perform up to their offensive ability. See for yourself when you buy season tickets today.
Green Bay Packers Matchups
Packers vs Bears Tickets
Separated by a mere 3-hour drive along the coast of Lake Michigan, Packers vs Bears is a rivalry defined by success. Dating back to their first meeting in November of 1921 these two teams have a combined 22 NFL championships and 58 members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Green Bay’s longest stretch of dominance occurred in the 1990’s wherein they won ten games in a row from 1994 to 1998. The dominance has continued this decade however, such as November 9th, 2014 when Aaron Rodgers tied an NFL record with 6 touchdown passes in the first half alone. If the Packers are going to repeat their success in the NFC North they’ll need to be ready on Thursday Night Football when they play host to the Bears October 20th at Lambeau Field.
Packers vs Lions Tickets
Packers vs Lions is a rivalry that extends back to 1930 when the then Portsmouth Lions took their first loss against the Packers on November 2. Clearly that game set the tone for what was to come as the teams have played 173 times since then with the Packers dominating with a 98-68-7 overall record with their neighbors to the East. While Detroit has sputtered in the past 20 years the Packers have cemented themselves as a Super Bowl contender every year. If the Packers are to take the NFC North they’ll need to be ready as they play host to the Lions on Sunday September 25th.
Packers vs Vikings Tickets
Packers vs Vikings is a geographic rivalry ensconced in Midwestern culture. While the two teams have been playing regularly since 1961 it is the state’s NCAA football division rivalry that furthers the intensity, having played more games against each other than any other program since 1907! Who can forget when Packers hall of famer Brett Favre suited up for the Vikings in what many sports fans argued was the “ultimate betrayal”? If the Packers are to take the NFC North they’ll need to be ready as they host the Vikings on Christmas Eve at Lambeau Field.
