Green Bay Packers News
It’s been a strange couple seasons for Jahri Evans, but the veteran lineman has officially found a home for the upcoming NFL season. For the Green Bay Packers, singing Evans was crucial in their efforts to replace T.J. Lang, who signed with the Detroit Lions, and protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Evans spent 11 seasons in New Orleans, but was cut after refusing a pay cut. He spent time in Seattle, but was cut before the season began, a move which the Seahawks regret. Now, the Packers have a chance to work with the sturdy offensive lineman and other new recruits before the 2017-2018 season begins. The first game at Lambeau Field is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 10, against Philadelphia.
This season the Green Bay Packers will play regular season home games versus the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks. On the road they’ll play the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys.
