Atlanta Falcons News

The Atlanta Falcons have reached the part of the season that hasn’t been too kind to them in years past. Atlanta is ahead in the division and only needs to win a few more games to clinch a playoff birth, and yet most of the players still remember late-season collapses from years past so they aren’t getting too comfortable just yet. The Falcons were unable to beat a reeling Philadelphia team in the last game before Atlanta’s bye, so everyone in the locker room is eager to get back to winning right away. The Falcons will host a strong Kansas City Chiefs team on December 4, and tickets for that game start as low as $34.

The Atlanta Falcons went on an impressive four-game winning streak just recently and they are trying their best to get back on that track. Last week the Falcons took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Raymond James Stadium. The game was incredibly even during the first half as each team answered to what the other was putting up on the scoreboard. As the teams headed to the locker room for halftime, they left the field tied at 17-17. It was during the third quarter that the Falcons had out breaking offensive plays that put them ahead by 13 points. They were able to grasp tight to the lead and win the game 43-28. Get your tickets today to see them live.

A thrilling one-point victory over the Green Bay Packers has reversed a two-game losing streak for the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Ryan, who has been criticized for his deep ball throwing abilities, threw an exceptional pass to receiver Taylor Gabriel which resulted in a 47 yard touchdown for the Falcons. Finishing with 288 total passing yards, Ryan helped his team earn the 33-32 victory over the Pack. The success has launched them to No. 5 in the NFL power rankings, up five spots from last week. Atlanta looks to increase their solid lead in the NFC South with a win over Tampa Bay this Thursday, Nov. 3. Tickets are available now for $52 and up!

Although the Atlanta Falcons are currently perched at first place in the NFC South, they may soon have to make room for someone else. Matt Ryan and the Falcons have now lost their last two games in a row, sliding to a mediocre 4 - 3 overall record. Their loss on Sunday was particularly devastating, as it came in overtime to a struggling San Diego Chargers team. Even worse, Atlanta blew a commanding lead at halftime to bank just one single field goal in the second half. San Diego took home the win 33 - 30. This week, the Falcons will take on the Green Bay Packers. Tickets to the October 30 game are $44 and up.

The Atlanta Falcons had their second loss of the season when they just barely lost against the Seahawks on October 16. The teams went into the locker room with the Seahawks ahead 17-3. The Falcons found their groove in the third quarter, scoring 21 points to draw ahead. However, the Seahawks managed to get within a point and then with just under two minutes left, the Seahawks scored a field goal to draw ahead. The Falcons worked hard to get another goal, but quarterback Matt Ryan was incomplete on his last four passes. The Falcons return home to host the Chargers on the 23 followed by the Packers on the 30. You can still get tickets, with prices to the Chargers game starting at $19.

An especially impressive showing from Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman helped boost the Atlanta Falcons to a huge 23-16 upset of the formerly No. 1 Denver Broncos Sunday. With nearly 300 yards between them, Freeman and Coleman busted their way through a tough Broncos defense. The win pushed Atlanta to the No. 4 spot in the power rankings, up from No. 10 last week. They’ll face another tough competitor in Week 6, and they’ll do it on the road. Heading to Seattle to face the No. 3 Seahawks is no easy task—will the Falcons be able to pull it off? CenturyLink Field is the place to be this Sunday, Oct. 16. Get tickets now for $178 and up.

Averaging 38 points per game is a pretty great statistic, and the Atlanta Falcons are starting to reap the rewards of their effective offense. At first place in the NFC South, they’re miles ahead of the Saints, Panthers and Buccaneers, who have each lost three out of four games so far. Week 4 saw the Falcons beating the Panthers handily 48-33, but it might be a little harder to score against Week 5. Atlanta will travel to Sports Authority Field in Mile High City to face the Broncos, whose defense is only allowing 16 points per game so far this year. This will be a game you don’t want to miss—check out the available seating and get your tickets now!

After earning a 38-25 win over the Raiders in Week 2, the Atlanta Falcons had some good momentum heading into Sunday’s game against the Saints. They used every bit of that momentum to their advantage, gaining a whopping 240 yards of passing and 442 total yards of offense. New Orleans also delivered offensively and earned 474 yards of their own, but mistakes made by the defense left the Saints embarrassed with a final score of 45-32. As the NFL heads into Week 4, the Falcons are hopeful that things will look similar as they take on the Panthers at home. Don’t miss your chance to be at the Georgia Dome this Sunday, Oct. 2! Tickets are available now for $57.

The Atlanta Falcons got a boost in confidence this week after beating the Oakland Raiders 35 - 28. Even better, the Falcons managed to pull off the feat on the road! It was an extremely close game, with the Raiders having ample opportunities to even the score. Hopefully this win will give the Falcons the inspiration they need to continue winning matches. They will be put to the test on the road this week against the New Orleans Saints before returning to Georgia Dome for a much-anticipated clash with Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers on October 2. Tickets to that game are already on sale and available for $36.

The Atlanta Falcons came to the field ready to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Falcons started off on the right foot, leading the game 10-3 at the end of the first quarter. However, the Buccaneers were able to score two touchdowns during the second quarter, taking the lead from the Falcons and never giving it back. The Falcons were unable to stop their charging offense and ended up losing the game 24-31. The Falcons play again at home on October 2 against the Carolina Panthers. Don’t miss your chance to catch all of the sweat and drama live. Tickets are still available, but don’t wait until it’s too late to snag them up. There are just a few days left before the Atlanta Falcons take on the Buccaneers for the start of the 2016 NFL season. The Falcons did well in their preseason games, with a 3-1 record. They beat the Redskins, Browns and Jaguars, but they lost to the Dolphins. This will be the last season the Falcons will play in their current stadium, with their new stadium set to open in 2017. Coach Dan Quinn is readying his team and knows that the team needs to focus on ball security to succeed this season. Tickets remain available for all games, including the season opener on the 11 at home. Ticket prices start at just $19.

Deep into the preseason, the Atlanta Falcons are beginning to take stock of their strengths and weaknesses in hopes of improving upon the 2015 team that lost steam halfway through the season. Last week brought a 17-6 loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta’s first disappointment of the preseason. Even though they lost, many Falcons fans were impressed with backup quarterback Matt Schaub, who connected with speedy receiver Aldrick Robinson three times for a total of 70 yards. The regular season begins for the Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 11, at home against the Bucs. Pick up your tickets today—we have the best seats in the house starting at $32.

The NFL season is about three weeks away and all teams are making last minute changes to their rosters in preparation. The night before the Atlanta Falcons had their first preseason game, a new team member, Cyrus Gray, joined the team. Gray plays the running back position and has a lot of competition cut out for him, but he seems to be dedicated to the team and the playbook. During the first preseason game against the Cleveland Browns, Gray was able to complete 18 rushes totaling 76 yards. So even though he has had a very short time to be with the Falcons, Gray is impressing. See if he makes the team when the Falcons start their season on September 1.

After winning last week’s clash against the Washington Redskins, the Atlanta Falcons will travel to Cleveland this Wednesday for a matchup with the Browns. The Falcons barely managed to eke out their first win, which means they should be looking to make a statement Wednesday night. They will have to do it without several starting players, however, including running back Terron Ward, safety Kemal Ishmael, and kicker Matt Bryant. All three starters will be sitting out due to injuries. Come see the Falcons when they return home on Thursday, September 1. They will be hosting Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tickets are already available starting as low as $3.

The Atlanta Falcons are back to work this week! With the start of the 2016 - 2017 NFL season just weeks away, Matt Ryan and company are back at Georgia Dome getting warmed up for their next shot at greatness. They kicked off their pre-season with a match against the Washington Redskins. Atlanta looked strong throughout the clash, ultimately winning the game 23 - 17. This should bode well for the Falcons, as they managed to take home the victory without several starters. Catch their next home practice game on Thursday, September 1 when they host Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tickets are currently available starting at just $3.

The NFL offseason is quickly coming to a close and teams are heading into their last training camps before the season begins. This means that players will be fighting for their spots on the roster. The Atlanta Falcons are no exception to this and in fact, huge competitions will be taking place for nearly every position on the team. Chris Chester, Mike Person and Tom Compton will be battling for the right guard position. The regular cornerback starter, Jalen Collins is suspended for the first four games of the season, giving someone else the opportunity to show what they are made of. Get your tickets today to see the Falcons live when they take on the Washington Redskins on August 11.

With OTAs getting started this week for the Atlanta Falcons, fans are finally getting a look at brand new recruits such as Mohamed Sanu and Sean Witherspoon. The limited practices are crucial in helping the team finalize its lineups and prepare for the upcoming football season. Although Falcons fans are mostly focused on what’s happening at training camp, one small distraction did occur this week when the NFL announced that Atlanta has been chosen to host the 2019 Superbowl! With lots to look forward to this season and in the coming years, Falcons fans are happy. Their home opener will take place Thursday, Aug. 11, against the Redskins. You can purchase tickets now for as little as $5.

Falcons vs Saints Tickets

The “Southern Showdown” is the most historic and deepest rivalry in the NFC South. The first two teams to open play in the Deep South, they display a grit and temerity that many Falcons fans would agree is unmatched within the division. The two teams have always seemed to share a connection amongst their players, whether it is leading scorer, kicker Morten Andersen, or quarterback Bobby Hebert, who played for both teams in the 1990s. With a combined 10 divisional titles between the two teams Falcons fans know that the road to another division title runs through the Big Easy.

Falcons vs Buccaneers Tickets

Falcons vs Buccaneers is a divisional matchup that is historic in regards to its parity. With the Falcons holding a 22-23 record against Tampa it seems these two teams have a difficult time escaping one another. While Falcons fans are aware that the Bucs may have dominated the early years of the rivalry there is zero doubt about where the edge has been for the past decade. However, Atlanta will be looking to avenge the divisional sweep that the Buccaneers were able to pull off last year. If Atlanta is serious about taking the NFC South this year they know they’ll have to pillage the Buccaneers.
