North Carolina State took control in the third quarter to score 13 and hold the Cardinals from scoring, but it barely made a dent. The Cardinals scored ten more in the fourth quarter. The Louisville Cardinals football program had a much-needed bye last week after their loss against the Clemson Tigers in week five. During the game against the Tigers, there were plenty of outstanding offensive plays and also a lot of turnovers that gave the game some serious excitement. However, the Tigers were able to outlast the Cardinals even when the Cardinals tried to come back in the second half. Even though Clemson’s quarterback, Deshaun Watson threw three interceptions, the Tigers left the victors with a 42-36 win over the Cardinals. See if the Cardinals week off helped heal their wounds when they take on an easier matchup against Duke on October 14.
