TaxSlayer Bowl News and Updates
There are so many different ways to spend the beginning of year 2016, but one of the best ways is at a college football bowl game. This year, Penn State and Georgia will play in the TaxSlayer Bowl game. Both teams are no strangers to bowl games and will come prepared to wipe the field with each other’s uniforms. Penn State made it to the Pinstripe Bowl last year and came away as the victors during a nail-biting overtime ending. That won’t stop or scare Georgia from bringing their offensive line to the field. To see both teams live, get your tickets today before it is too late. Tickets start at $19.
12/9/14 - This year, the TaxSlayer Bowl (formerly the Gator Bowl) will host the 6-6 Tennessee Volunteers and the 7-5 Iowa Hawkeyes. Both teams are billed as defensive teams, which often translates into a smash mouth game of football. The Hawkeyes from the Big Ten have played in a handful of incredibly close games this year, losing four games by less than a touchdown. If Iowa is going to win the game, look for them to establish the run early. The Volunteers will rely their sophomore quarterback Josh Hobbs to make big plays through the air and on the ground. The dual-threat quarterback is dangerous in space, but can still use his arms to deliver the ball to his playmakers. Tickets to this bowl game start at just $19, where you can see the Big Ten and the SEC go head to head.
