Alamo Bowl News and Updates
The Alamo Bowl may not be one of the bowl games that will take a team to the national championship, but it is a bowl game that is impressive and difficult to achieve. The two teams that have been voted to play in the Alamo Bowl this season are the Oregon Ducks versus TCU. As always, the game will be held in the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX on January 2. TCU and Oregon have yet to compete against one another this season, making it very interesting and difficult to predict who will be the victors. Get your tickets today to see all of the action live. Tickets start around $52 each.
12/8/14 - On January 2nd, the Kansas State Wildcats (11) and the UCLA Bruins (14) will meet up in San Antonio, Texas for the first ever top 15 matchup in Alamo Bowl history. Seasoned Kansas State coach Bill Snyder will lead his team against young head Bruins coach Jim Mora Jr. Kansas State is one of the steadiest teams each year and will look to score through the air with one of the best quarterback-receiver pairings in the nation. Conversely, the Bruins will look for dual-threat quarterback Brett Hundley to establish a rhythm and make big plays with his arm and with his feet. On the other side of the ball, UCLA linebacker Myles Jack looks to disrupt the Wildcat offense with his knack for turnovers. For only $5, you can watch as both teams look to redeem late season losses and carry positive momentum into the offseason.
