3/20/16 - After 10 double digit seeds won 1st Round tournament games it's not surprising that two of them will meet in a Sweet Sixteen game at the Midwest Regional in Chicago. On selection Sunday many college basketball analysts questioned whether or not No. 10 Syracuse should even be in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, but the Orange have proven them all wrong by winning its first two games by a combined 44 points. In its opening game No. 11 Gonzaga shocked Seton Hall, a popular tourney pick. The Zags continued to roll in the 2nd Round, knocking out Pac 12 heavyweight and No. 3 seed Utah by 23. The other Sweet 16 game in Chicago features top seed Virgina vs Iowa State.
