Portland Trail Blazers News

Not pulling through in the final seconds of close games has been a real problem for the Portland Trail Blazers, and it could be the reason the team misses a chance at the playoffs. With such a competitive Western Conference, a few seeds are still up for grabs. Although the Blazers are still in the running, their play must be impeccable in the final weeks. Despite not getting many wins when a game is decided by a basket or less, Portland did get huge consecutive victories over the Spurs, the Hawks and the Heat this week. Hopefully the momentum carries them as they face off against the Timberwolves this Saturday, March 25. We have tickets available today for $31 and up.

When the Portland Trail Blazers beat the reigning NBA champs earlier this month, many thought this could be the team’s turning point. The Blazers, however, followed the 102-86 victory over Cleveland by proceeding to lose the next four in a row. Coming in at No. 21 in this week’s NBA power rankings, Portland is down five spots and no nearer a postseason appearance. C.J. Mccollum and Damian Lillard are also in danger of being snubbed in this year’s All-Star roster. The Blazers have the home court advantage in their next four games, however, so be sure to get tickets to see them take on Memphis (Jan. 27), Golden State (Jan. 29), Charlotte (Jan. 31) and Dallas (Feb. 3). Tickets are on sale now!

The Portland Trail Blazers have now won their last two games in a row after defeating the reigning champions on Wednesday night. That’s right; the Trail Blazers managed to crush the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers 102-86, which is a feat not many teams can claim. That victory brings their overall record up to 18-23 and places them at eighth in the Western Conference. They will still have some work to do if they want to make it to the playoffs, starting with a clash against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, January 25. Tickets to the game at Moda Center are on sale and available for prices starting as low as $17.

It's been two weeks since the Portland Trail Blazers won their last game, and there are many theories about the reason for the slump. Many are pointing fingers at point guard Damian Lillard, saying he hasn't brought things together for the team. Coach Terry Stotts quickly came to Lillard’s defense, calling him a coachable team player. In the coming days, the Trail Blazers will be looking to regroup with three games on the road. Catch them at the Spurs, Timberwolves or the Warriors this week before they return home to the Moda Center on Thursday, Jan. 5, against the Lakers. Tickets for games both home and away can be purchased from us now!

Beating the Chicago Bulls was a great way for the Portland Trail Blazers to begin their daunting five-game road trip that ended this week in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the Blazers were unable to earn any wins in any of the remaining four games of the trip, prompting a drop to No. 19 in the NBA standings. When they returned home Tuesday night against OKC, the supportive crowd helped the team overcome the slump to beat the Thunder 114-95. Portland hits the road again for two more games, but returns to the Moda Center at the Rose Garden this Wednesday, Dec. 21, against Dallas. We have great seats and great prices available now! The Portland Trail Blazers are known for being a high-scoring offense, and last night was no exception. They hosted the Indiana Pacers at Moda Center at the Rose Garden and outscored the visitors in every quarter but the last one. By that time, however, they were already well on their way to the eventual 131 - 109 victory. That’s right; the home team scored a jaw-dropping 131 points total. Now, they will embark on a lengthy road trip before returning home on Tuesday, December 13 to host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tickets to that game are already on sale and can be purchased for prices starting as low as $17.

Tickets to that game are on sale and available for $21.

On October 29, the Trail Blazers took on the Denver Nuggets with high hopes of bringing home a win. Portland started the first half with just enough gusto to have the lead to start the third quarter. However, the Nuggets rallied back during the second half to send the two teams into overtime. The NBA season hasn’t quite started and that’s okay for the Portland Trailblazers. The Trailblazers need all the time they can get to attempt to have some of their huge players back in the injury free saddle. Meyers Leonard went under the knife on April 8 of this year to repair his torn labrum in his left shoulder. His recovery time is 6-8 months, forcing him out of the ball game until October. Festus Ezeli received an injection in his left knee near the end of August, causing him to hit the sidelines for six weeks. Finally, Noah Vonleh had surgery on his wrist in August and is expected to be out for a month. Get tickets today to see who will be able to play when the season begins.
