New Orleans Pelicans News

A bewildering and embarrassing loss to the last-place Nets has left the New Orleans Pelicans and their fans scratching their heads. Friday’s game was a complete demolition from the Brooklyn team that had previously only won eight games the entire season. The final score being 114-143, the Pels knew they had to win back over the home crowd three nights later against the reigning NBA champs, a task that they knew would be difficult. However, New Orleans was able to get the job done, winning 124-122 and beginning the process of redeeming themselves. The Pelicans play their next two at home, welcoming the Spurs this Friday, Jan. 27, and the Wizards Sunday, Jan. 29. Tickets start at just $6!

The New Orleans Pelicans are not having one of their best years, but they did earn something to celebrate on Monday night. They visited Madison Square Garden for a clash with the New York Knicks, and things went better than most people expected. In fact, New Orleans led the entire game and managed to close things out 110-96. It was a sigh of relief after three previous losses in a row. The Pelicans will stay on the road to play the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and Indiana Pacers before returning to Smoothie King Center to host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, January 18. Tickets are available for $1 and up.

The New Orleans Pelicans are finally back up and running with a healthy roster, which has helped them win back-to-back contests for the first time since their mid-November four-game streak. Jrue Holiday, Dante Cunningham and Tyreke Evans all returned to the court this week after recovering from various injuries, rejoining Anthony Davis to beat Miami and Dallas this week. In Friday’s game with the Heat, Holiday scored 22 points and made six assists in the 91-87 victory. The Pels finish up a five-game home stretch this Friday, Dec. 30, against the Knicks. Can they continue their streak? Find out for yourself when you purchase tickets from us today for only $14 and up.

The New Orleans Pelicans finally ended their five-game losing streak this week after they toppled the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Another bright spot occurred just days later, as they also sent the Pacers home with a 102-95 routing. The wins were sandwiched by a loss to the Golden State Warriors, a game that was surprisingly close between the first and (almost) last place teams. Anthony Davis helped the Pellies with 28 points in the 109-113 loss. New Orleans hits the road for the next couple games, but returns to the Smoothie Center this Wednesday, Dec. 21, against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tickets are on sale now for $6 and up!

The New Orleans Pelicans rebounded from their loss against the Dallas Mavericks last weekend with a win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. Although the Lakers are not the mighty team the once were with Kobe Bryant, they still held a better record than the Pelicans going into the match. The victory went to the home team, however, with the Pelicans outscoring the Lakers 105 - 88. New Orleans has a test ahead of them on Monday night, however, as they will host the formidable Memphis Grizzlies at Smoothie King Center. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased for prices starting as low as just $1.

Fans of the New Orleans Pelicans are in absolute shock after their team managed to pull off its second win of the season. They did so in unbelievable fashion, beating the visiting Boston Celtics in a miraculous 106 - 105 contest. The Pelicans handed Boston their fifth loss of the year. Could this victory be the start of an upward trend? Find out what happens on Friday, November 18, when New Orleans hosts the Portland Trail Blazers at Smoothie King Center. Tickets are currently on sale and available for purchase starting at prices as low as $5. That is a steal to cheer on the home team to another win!

The New Orleans Pelicans have had a tough start to their 2016 NBA season. They have lost their last five games in a row. Sadly, the Pelicans came extremely close to ending their losing streak when they played against the Milwaukee Bucks this week, but they weren’t able to pull it off. Instead, the Bucks won the game 117-113. The Pelicans could use any help they can get to add some wins to their record, so get your tickets today to cheer them on to victory when they take on the Phoenix Suns on November 4. Tickets are still available for any upcoming game. Get them before you’re too late.

The New Orleans Pelicans are going to have a rough start to the season because they are currently missing three of their starting five players to injuries. This definitely hurts the team, since their starting line up didn’t exactly include all superstars. The Pelicans started their season off last year, losing 10 of their first 11 games, but the team is trying to be hopeful. The Pelicans hit the court against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night and may have lost the preseason game, but didn’t go home getting wiped out. The game ended at 96-89 for the Hawks. Cheer the Pelicans on this season when you purchase your tickets from Razorgator today.

The New Orleans Pelicans already have one of the league’s most exciting players in Anthony Davis. Now, with the addition of rookie Buddy Hield from Oklahoma, the team might have two players that can light up an arena on any given night. Hield was one of the best NCAA players last year, and while college doesn’t always translate to the pros, his incredible shot and unselfish style of play should help him adjust to life in the NBA. If the Pelicans have two legitimate scoring options and can improve on defense, the team should be looking at a return to the playoffs. The Indiana Pacers come to New Orleans for a preseason game on October 4 with tickets starting as low as $6.
