Boston Celtics News

The Boston Celtics are on a tear! They have now won their last seven games in a row, including Sunday’s close call against the Los Angeles Clippers. It was an exhilarating game and the Celtics had the lead for the majority of the first three quarters. Then, the Clippers came surging back to outscore the home team 35-26 in the fourth quarter. Fortunately, Boston was able to fend them off and come away with the victory 107-102. TD Garden went wild with the win. Catch the Celtics when they return home from their road trip on Wednesday, February 15 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tickets are available for $18 and up.

Someone was finally able to upset the Boston Celtics at TD Garden, and that lucky team was the New York Knicks. Although they have a far less impressive record, the Knicks always get feisty for their rivalry clash with Boston. The Celtics could not fend them off, blowing the match 106-117. Boston will have a chance to regroup against the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center before coming home to play James Harden and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, January 25. You won’t want to miss this one! Tickets are already on sale and available for purchase starting at prices as low as just $24. Buy yours to reserve your seats now!

The Boston Celtics may have struggled to break away from the bottom of the pack early in this season, but their efforts are clearly starting to pay off. Boston has won five of their last seven games, falling only to the No. 9 OKC Thunder and the No. 2 Cleveland Cavaliers. The hot streak, which includes Tuesday's 115-104 win over the equally talented Utah Jazz, boosts the Celtics to No. 6 in the NBA. Boston is set to wrap up a four game home stretch this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 6-7) against the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Orleans Pelicans. We have great seats at the TD Garden Arena available now for both these games—get yours today!

Fans of the Boston Celtics were happy to see Isaiah Thomas return to the court this week after missing the last four with a groin injury, and his absence proved just how invaluable he is as a player. On Friday, Thomas earned 23 points against Charlotte, and although he was evicted for throwing an elbow at Justice Winslow, his efforts helped the Celtics to a 96-88 win over the Hornets. That victory was followed by two others on the road against the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies. Up next, Boston takes on the OKC Thunder this Friday, Dec. 23, at TD Garden in Boston. Tickets are available now starting at $58.

A win over the Rockets would have been huge for the Boston Celtics, but they watched it slip through their fingers thanks to three costly turnovers. According to forward Jae Crowder, the mistakes happened due to miscommunication between Boston teammates. After leading by 20 points, the Celtics couldn’t overcome the snag to make the final minutes go their way, losing 107-106. Despite the loss, they stay at No. 10 in this week’s power rankings, edging out the Grizzlies and the Pacers for a spot in the top ten. Catch Boston play the Toronto Raptors at home this Friday, Dec. 9, by purchasing tickets from us now for $28 and up!

The Boston Celtics are on an absolute tear lately, winning five out of their last seven games. In fact, their two most recent victories came on the road. On Monday, they visited Minneapolis for a clash with the Timberwolves. It was a tight contest for much of the game, but ultimately the Celtics pulled out the win 99 - 93. They scored a ridiculous 31 points in the fourth quarter to overtake the home team. Boston will return home to TD Garden after the Thanksgiving holiday on Friday, November 25, to play the ageless San Antonio Spurs. Forget shopping and buy your tickets to this epic matchup for $68 and up.

After last year’s run to the playoffs, fans in Bean Town have high expectations for the Boston Celtics this year. The Celts came up way short of those expectations in a November 6 game against the Denver Nuggets, giving up 42 points in the first quarter alone and eventually losing by a final of 123-107. The season is young, as is this Boston team, so the occasional defensive lapse will have to be forgiven. Nevertheless, the Celtics will have to improve drastically in order to compete in the East. The team’s next shot at redemption will be on November 16 when the Dallas Mavericks come to town. Tickets for that game start as low as $18.

Aside from some lackluster defense, the Boston Celtics played well in the season opener. Point guard Isaiah Thomas picked up right where he left off last season, leading the team in scoring with 25 points while also dishing out nine assists. Jae Crowder was able to contribute 21 points and Boston went on to beat the Nets 122-117. The Celtics had a sizeable lead through most of the second half, though the team stumbled a bit late and let the Nets close the gap before finally putting the game away. The Celtics will face Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls on November 2, and tickets for that game start as low as $32.

As the Boston Celtics prepare to start the 2016-2017 season, the team got important news from a player who hasn’t been on the roster for a number of years. Paul Pierce, who now plays with the Los Angeles Clippers, is planning to retire with the Celtics when he finishes his career. Pierce played most of his seasons in Boston and was part of the team’s dynastic run in the early 2000s. This might not matter to the current players, but it will certainly make fans happy. On October 26 the Celtics will play host to the Brooklyn Nets and the regular season will finally be underway. Tickets for that game start as low as $36.

The Boston Celtics are preparing for their first preseason game of the 2016-2017 season, which will be against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 4. The team says goodbye to Kevin Garnett, a long-standing player on the team who has chosen to retire. He was a 10-time All-Star player and had been on the team since 2007. The team acquired Al Hoford during the free agency period. Holford is expected to provide a boost to the team. The Celtics are working hard to prepare for the start of the season and go al the way to the championship. Get your tickets for all the Celtics' games this season. Prices for the 76ers game on the 4th start at $55.
