Washington Nationals Tickets

The Washington Nationals ended last season at the top of the NL East, only to lose to the Dodgers in the division playoffs. The team will be looking to make 2017 their year to go all the way in the playoffs. Will they be able to do it? They have made a few key additions, and they are putting Trea Turner back into his shortstop position. They have a solid pitching staff, as long as everyone remains in top shape. Fans are optimistic that this could be the year, since the Nationals have a solid team that is ready to battle any team to win the World Series. Washington Nationals News

Except for the Colorado Rockies, the Washington Nationals are on top of the National League standings with a 21-12 overall record. Unfortunately, a quarter of their total losses have come in the last three games. They are currently battling the Baltimore Orioles on the road and, so far, it’s not going well. Tuesday’s game was particularly brutal, as it went into extra innings after a 3-3 tie. Then, in the bottom of the eleventh, Baltimore managed to score a lone, unanswerable run to claim the victory. Washington now heads back to Nationals Park where they will host the Philadelphia Phillies. Tickets to the game on Saturday are available for $8.

It’s a strange thing when a team is forced to win a game twice, and yet that’s what seemed to happen for the Washington Nationals when playing the Atlanta Braves on April 18. In the bottom of the ninth, Nats’ pitcher Shawn Kelley appeared to strike out Chase D’Arnaud for the final out of the game. However, the umpire called an invisible foul tip, so Washington players had to stop celebrating and regroup. Fortunately, Kelley got D’Arnaud to swing and miss again, allowing the Nationals to win… again. Washington will look to win in a regular fashion when the Mets come to town on April 28. Tickets for that game start at just $16.
