Boston Red Sox Tickets

Once known as the most cursed team in MLB, the Boston Red Sox have enjoyed quite a comeback in recent years. After their historic World Series Championship in 2004, they went on to earn two more in 2007 and 2013. The Sox originated in 1901 as part of the first eight American League franchises and have been playing at Fenway Park since 1912. By trading Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees in 1918, Boston entered an 86-year championship drought with the “Curse of the Bambino.” Fortunately, that spell has since been broken. Boston Red Sox News

Some drama unfolded for the Boston Red Sox Tuesday after the Baltimore Orioles revealed that their center fielder, Adam Jones, had been victim of racial heckling by an audience member during Monday night’s contest at Fenway Park. In response, the city of Boston reacted like champions, giving Jones a standing ovation in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday to show their support. Red Sox officials also took swift action to beef up security and make it known that any type of similar behavior would not be tolerated. The Red Sox wrap up Week 4 against the Twins with a four-game stay at Target Field in Minneapolis. Catch Minnesota versus Boston this weekend when you purchase tickets today.

With David Ortiz retired, the Boston Red Sox will have to find offense in other places this season. During an April 11 game against the Baltimore Orioles, that offense came in a small, Dustin Pedroia-sized package. The Sox second baseman drove in four runs on two hits, including a bases-loaded single in the seventh that scored two runs and blew the game open. The rest of the Red Sox order chipped in to make the final score 8-1, but it was Dustin’s day. Boston will be hosting the Yankees for a three-game series at Fenway starting on April 25. Tickets for that first game are still available and start as low as $40.
