The next night, August 1, the Braves started a three game series against the Pirates with a 5-3 loss. The Braves were ahead until the Pirates had a four-run sixth inning and the Braves were unable to recover. Julio Teheran was on the mound and only gave up one hit. Freddie Freeman did well at bat, going 4 for 5 and getting two doubles and an RBI. Nick Markakis had a homer and also hit a single to drive in a run. The Braves will look to maintain this momentum when they head to Miami to play two games against the Marlins, starting on June 21. The Atlanta Braves scored in the 76th draft by selecting Brett Cumberland. His two seasons in California definitely showed that he has what it takes to be a stellar addition to the Braves. His power-hitting prowess will add to the bold team this year. There is a small concern that Cumberland’s defensive skills may not be a strength behind the plate, but his vast skill at hitting should be enough to make him a hot commodity for the team. Tickets to see the Braves in Turner Field can be found for as little as $17.00, so go enjoy the games!

The Atlanta Braves have had a few very tough seasons in a row, and this season is no exception. They are currently the worst team in the MLB and are having a hard time pulling off any wins. They stand with 9 wins and 28 losses so far. This week they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates for a four-game series. On Monday night they slammed the green field with some serious offense, bringing in five runs during the game. However, it wasn’t enough to compete against the eight runs that the Pirates brought to home plate. See if the Braves can recover when they take on the Pirates again on May 18. Get your tickets today. It’s been a rough start to the season for the Atlanta Braves, but the National League East Division team is looking to bounce back with a three-game homestand with the Philadelphia Phillies on May 10, 11, and 12.

Midway through the first week of May, the Braves were 7-20, having lost 10 of their last 13 games. The Phillies, meanwhile, were 8.5 games above Atlanta in the division standings as of May 5, sporting a 16-12 mark. At the same time Atlanta was going through its 3-10 stretch, the Phillies were 9-3. This is the first meeting of the year between the division rivals. You can enjoy an evening at the ballpark to see the teams face off starting at only $4.

The Atlanta Braves continue to have a hard time this season. With the conclusion of their away series against the Washington Nationals, they have now had nine games, all of which ended in losses. Worse, there is one more away series before the Braves have the opportunity to return to their home field in Atlanta. It certainly is looking like this may be a rough season, but fans should not give up hope for the Braves. Once they gain some momentum, they are sure to start racking in the victories. Their next home game will be on April 19th when they host the Los Angeles Dodger. Tickets start at $4.

The Atlanta Braves started off the season with a narrow loss against the Nationals on April 4. Both teams scored in the first inning and fourth inning. The Braves got ahead in the eighth inning, but then the Nationals equalized in the top of the ninth. The Braves were unable to get a run, and the game went into extra innings. The Nationals scored in the tenth to get ahead, and the Braves once again failed to get a run, resulting in a loss for the team. They have a chance to take revenge on the Nationals on April 6, and you can still get tickets to catch the action in person for prices starting at $67.

The beginning of the official season draws ever closer for the Atlanta Braves. There are now officially less than two weeks remaining before the new season kicks off. In the meantime, however, there are still plenty of preseason matchups to keep you occupied. Unfortunately, the Braves have not fared well so far in the preseason, having a record of 6-16. Of course, these games are all about learning what to improve and preparing for April 4th when the Braves host their first real opponent: the Washington Nationals. You can attend the very first day of the new season for as little as $19. Come out, show your support, and help cheer the Braves to victory.

The Atlanta Braves are getting the team ready for opening day in a few weeks. Jeff Francoeur, who spent last season with the Phillies, recently found his way to the Braves, the team that initially signed him. He is working hard to make the cut, but there are seven outfielders currently in the Braves' camp, and he is the only one who is not already a roster player. The Braves have lost several games so far this preseason, including their latest 6-10 loss to the Tigers on March 15. They next play the Cardinals on the 16 at Champion Stadium in Florida, and you can still get tickets to catch the action in person for $48.

Braves Bases Loaded for 2016 Season
Without making any giant splashes, Atlanta quietly had a solid offseason. While 2015 was marked by key departures, this season looks to be all about the savvy additions made by the front office. Some might wait to see how the club starts the season, but smart fans are getting their cheap Atlanta Braves tickets now so they don’t miss any of the action.

Infield Additions
Position players were a bit of a disappointment for the Braves last season, leading to some quick winter transactions. The addition of Gordon Beckham and Erick Aybar will immediately shore up the infield with talented, veteran defenders. Both players are consistent hitters with base-stealing speed and are capable of jumpstarting the offense.

Closing It Down
Losing closer Craig Kimbrell was a setback last season, but the Braves may have found a replacement in RHP Jim Johnson. After a couple of subpar seasons, Johnson looks to regain the dominance that made him one of the game’s best closers when he pitched in Baltimore. Get discount seats near the bullpen so you can watch the talented pitcher warming up from just a few yards away.

The NL East is up for grabs this year, and Braves fans certainly don’t want to see a repeat run from the Mets. Get your tickets early to enjoy all the excitement at Turner Field.
