2016 Sting Tour News

At a recent show in Chicago, Illinois, Sting and Peter Gabriel filled the United Center with fans from all walks of life. Gabriel opened with a haunting version of “The Rhythm of the Heat,” but was followed by an energetic Sting performing “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” The two, though very different, seem to complement each other perfectly well. The two are notorious humanitarians, and also took some time out of the show to dedicate songs such as “Red Rain” and “Love Can Heal” to the recent string of killings here in the United States. Sting and Gabriel continue the “Rock Paper Scissors” tour this Friday, July 15, in Stateline, Nevada. Tickets can be purchased today for $156.

The Sundance Film Festival is famous for inspiring great concerts along with great cinema, and Sting was just one of the artists who put on a show during the 2016 event. Equipped with a pianist for accompaniment and his trusty guitar, Sting encouraged the small audience to sing along to songs including “Sending Out an S.O.S” and “Message In a Bottle.” If you’re like us, you’re probably jealous of the lucky few who got to be there. Don’t be, because you will have a chance to see him live when he hits the road this summer, kicking things off June 21 in Columbus, Ohio.
