Ashley Nicollete Franginpane, better known as Halsey, is one of the hottest singer/songwriters in the music industry right now. Her career began like a lot of singers do these days, from posting her songs on YouTube. She is currently in the middle of her Badlands Tour, which takes place all across America until the beginning of the year. 9/29/15 - “New Americana” singer and newcomer to the pop music scene, Halsey, gets her eclectic influences from many places. While she cites older artists like Nirvana and Biggie as some of her idols, she also incorporates newer pop culture influences into her music as well. In fact, she channeled the popular Hunger Games series into her recently release music video for “New Americana,” which is part of a larger dialogue in her Badlands album. 9/15/15 - One of the rising stars in music these days is Halsey, an indie pop singer and songwriter who got her start by posting videos of herself on Internet sites such as YouTube. After signing with Astralwerks, she has been gaining steam ever since and will soon release her first full-length album.
