That’s right, one couple tied the knot right before a July 9 show in Ravinia, Illinois. On Sunday (July 17), Duran Duran will be back in the states for a show at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

You get quite a bit of attention when you’re in an iconic band like Duran Duran, which has always been the case for bassist John Taylor. Now, however, it’s his daughter who’s getting some serious attention. Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor has been announced as the face of Penelope Cruz’s new lingerie line in collaboration with Agent Provocateur. Taylor looks fantastic as a brand representative, and we can’t help but wonder if her success will make her father work harder than ever when his band hits the road in March. Catch Taylor and the rest of the guys at their first show in Niagara Falls for prices as low as $203.
Fans in Florida are facing a tough predicament with the Duran Duran concert. The much-anticipated April 1 appearance is scheduled to conflict with the Miami Open tennis tournament due to county laws. Key Biscayne village officials claim that county rules do not permit for a post-tennis concert. They say they also wish to preserve “island paradise.” We think it’s too early for this to be an April Fools’ joke, so Florida residents should hang tight while the officials work it out. If you can’t catch them there, you can still see them in either St. Augustine on March 30 or Tampa on April 2. Tickets are $102 and $37 respectively.
Duran Duran front man Nick Rhodes joined in honoring the late David Bowie, who passed away early this week, by talking about his tremendous influence as a pioneer in music, fashion, and art. Rhodes paid tribute to the “Rebel Rebel” singer by saluting him as “fascinating, funny, sharp, eloquent, and very caring. He also called the icon “bigger than the Beatles” in terms of his influence on arts culture in general. In fact, Rhodes cites David Bowie as the very reason for his band’s existence. Catch Nick Rhodes and the rest of Duran Duran when they head out on tour starting Friday, March 25 in Niagara Falls, ON. Tickets are $203.
John Taylor must have been mistaken when he conjectured that his band, Duran Duran, was nearing “retirement age,” because the guys are scheduled to hit the road for a massive tour in 2016 starting on Friday, March 25 in Niagara Falls, ON. To be fair, Taylor did follow up by saying that on the contrary, “I’m fit, I’m happy, I’m having a good time.” That should be all the incentive you need to buy your tickets to an upcoming show, no matter where you live. Be sure to act fast, however, as tickets are already selling at lightning-hot rate. Prices for the opening show on March 25 currently start at $213.
