Bob Seger Tour News and Updates
2015 Ride Out Tour
3/5/15 - The Forum is a venue in Los Angeles that seats 18,000 people, and it was absolutely filled to the brim last Friday evening. Fans of all ages were there to see Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band perform live, and they did not leave disappointed. Seger has a way of making his music seem timeless, an accomplishment that seems to stem from his innate talent and gracious personality. He is never afraid to give credit where credit is due, a quality that is readily apparent even on stage as he often takes a backseat and lets the other musicians shine. His next stop on tour is this Saturday, March 7 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Like the others, this show will undoubtedly sell out, but we still have tickets available for $81.
2/23/15 - Some may think that Bob Seger is hinting at pending retirement with the title of his latest album, but in a recent interview he stated that Ride Out really pays homage to his love of riding motorcycles. The cover features art of a desert road that fades into mountain scenery on the front, and you can almost picture him in his famous sunglasses as he enjoys a ride on one of his bikes. His love for the great outdoors often influences his songwriting, as do his other beliefs and passions. His tour continues this week on the west coast with four concerts scheduled in California between now and March 5. You can purchase your tickets to the Feb. 27 show at The Forum in Inglewood for $94.
2/16/15 - As one of the most recognizable and successful faces in rock and roll music, Bob Seger has had an amazing career that has spanned over fifty years, includes 23 albums and a much-deserved spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The nearly 70-year-old has written some of the most familiar household tunes out there, and each lyric seems to represent an important part of the singer. Many of his songs touch on deeply political topics such as violence and climate change, but they represent truths that all can agree on. His music truly seems to bring people together in more ways than one. His “Ride Out” tour continues in Glendale, AZ this Thursday, Feb. 19, when he will be on stage at the Gila River Arena. Get your tickets for $104.
2/9/15 - Rock legend Bob Seger continued his 2015 Ride Out Tour at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL on Saturday, proving he can still get carried away in the music. Seger entertained fans with the same kind of passion you might find in a fired-up preacher talking to his parishioners. Bringing the house down with contagious hits like “Old Time Rock and Roll,” Seger had the whole arena on its feet, clapping, and shouting along to anthems like “Rock ‘n’ Roll Never Forgets.” Seger also played a heartfelt “Turn the Page” before launching into two encore performances including the songs “Against the Wind,” “Hollywood Nights,” and “Night Moves.” The next stop on Seger’s Ride Out Tour is Dallas, where he will play at the American Airlines Center this Thursday.
2/2/15 - In his true minimalist fashion, Bob Seger took the stage in Atlanta Saturday night and let his music do all the talking. He was wearing his typical blue jeans, black t-shirt, and a headband to hold back his hair. The stage was lit simply and had a red curtain backdrop with a video screen on each side. He began the night singing “Roll Me Away” to the sold-out Georgia audience. He is touring for what is likely the final time with The Silver Bullet Band, who has worked with Seger since 1973. This week he will be appearing in three Florida cities, with the first stop at the Germain Arena in Estero on Feb. 3. Razorgator has your tickets available for a starting price of $104.
1/26/15 - Legendary rocker Bob Seger announced this week that he would add a final show to his Ride Out Tour 2015, which was originally scheduled to wrap up in Michigan on March 26 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Ride Out Tour will now conclude in Music City, or Nashville, TN, on Saturday, March 28 at the Bridgestone Arena. The final show will be the 40th of the tour, which began last autumn. It is a fitting place to end the worldwide tour, as Nashville is where Seger recorded the album for which the tour is named. Tickets for the final show in Nashville will go on sale in early February. Tickets for many other stops along on the Ride Out Tour are still available on Razorgator.com.
