12/1/14 - Bob Dylan and his band just wrapped up a five-night stretch of shows on their Never Ending Tour at the legendary Beacon Theater in New York City. Covering such iconic classics as “She Belongs to Me” and “Blowin’ in the Wind,” Dylan and his band were simultaneously relaxed and revved up, wowing the crowd every step of the way. The legendary balladeer didn’t just rely on his early songs, though. His recent shows featured songs spanning his decades-long career, underscoring his status as one of the most enduring American folk and rock stars of all time. At 73, Bob Dylan shows no signs of slowing down: He recently confirmed the release of a new studio album in 2015. Titled “Shadows in the Night,” the album comes on the heels of Dylan’s highly acclaimed “Basement Tapes” box set.
11/24/14 - Bob Dylan will be stopping in Philadelphia this weekend, as a part of his appropriately titled Never Ending tour. The busy artist will play three consecutive nights at the Academy of Music venue in the Pennsylvania city, with plans to continue the fervent pace into December. He will remain on the eastern side of the country, making stops in Washington DC at the DAR Constitution Hall on Tuesday, November 25th, and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark the next night. The fans in New York City will then get several chances to see him live at the Beacon Theatre. He no longer plays guitar on stage, but he uses his harmonica for accompaniment when he isn’t playing piano. According to reviews, his voice has deepened over the years, but he still delivers a great concert. He performs at least six songs from his most recent album, Tempest. Dylan is a dynamic performer.
