Big Time Rush Tour News and Updates

Nickelodeon stars Victoria Justice of “Victorious” and boy band Big Time Rush of hit show “Big Time Rush” are co-headlining Summer Break Tour which opened at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on June 21. The 40-City North American tour will support the third Big Time Rush album ’24/Seven’ that includes BTR songs “Like Nobody’s Around” and title track “24/Seven”. The band’s four members - Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr., Logan Henderson – wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on their third studio album. The ten Big Time Rush songs recorded for the album give the boy band a grander music catalog to play from at their Summer concerts; the BTR setlist should expand as a result. Justice will release her first solo album soon, following three “Victorious” albums. Last month, the actress, singer-songwriter released the first single “Gold” off her debut album.

The Summer Break Tour will be BTR fourth tour after their Big Time Tour ended in October of last year. Cody Simpson and X-Factor’s Rachel Crow opened for the Big Time Tour at select shows. The Summer Break Tour is Victoria Justice’s second in her career. Big Time Rush and Victoria Justice will be joined by opening acts Olivia Somerlyn, Jackson Guthy, G-Eazy, and Kik-It. Fans will pay an average of $270 for Summer Break Tour tickets; BTR tickets for the 40 show tour are $29 more than Justin Bieber tickets (30 shows).
