2015 Unbreakable Tour

12/30/15 - Disappointing news has emerged out of the Janet Jackson camp this week. The “Unbreakable” tour was scheduled to pick up again in January, but has had to be postponed due to the fact that the “Rhythm Nation” singer will undergo surgery soon. Though she gave no indication what type of health problem doctors are addressing, Janet did reassure fans by saying “Gon’ b alright.” She broke the news to fans via her Facebook account, letting them know that despite the setback, she would reschedule the shows for some time in the spring. All those who have previously purchased tickets should be aware that they will be honored for the rescheduled shows.

12/23/15 - It may have been several decades since R&B legend Janet Jackson was on top of the charts, but she’s back in full force. In fact, Jackson’s album Unbreakable was recently named one of the best female pop albums of 2015. She shares the honor with two other powerhouses and their albums, including EMOTION by Carly Rae Jepsen and Grimes’ Art Angels. Each was recognized for her ability to weave storytelling and fantasy into their albums. Catch Jackson live at her next show after the holidays on Saturday, January 9 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased for as little as just $52.

12/16/15 - When Janet Jackson released her third studio album back in 1984, many thought it wouldn’t be a commercial success. Those predictions were proven wrong time and time again, however, as the record ended up taking the No. 1 spot in the charts. Control was just the first in a string of five consecutive albums to take those top honors, blowing all her doubters out of the water. Despite the time off she has taken in recent years, her success has been ongoing. Her latest album and tour, both titled Unbreakable, have been incredibly successful. If you live near Denver, Colorado, you can catch her at the Pepsi Center on Jan. 9 for $56 and up.

12/9/15 - R&B icon Janet Jackson has been married for some time now, but her life could have been very different if she would have accepted another suitor’s proposal decades ago. That man is Jermaine Dupri, and he recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to talk about his decorated life. Dupri, who was with Jackson for eight years, says he thought at one point he asked her to marry him. It obviously didn’t pan out, as the former couple hasn’t spoken in a long time. You can get your chance to get some personal time with Janet when she takes the stage in Denver, CO on Saturday, January 9. Tickets are $56.

12/2/15 - Janet Jackson is receiving rave review for her comeback tour, Unbreakable. While she is obviously the star of the show, it seems a few members of her supporting cast are also getting some attention. Two of her backup dancers appear to be stealing the show, and they’re only 12 years old! The two young ladies have signed on for the first part of the massive world tour, which means they’re the best of the best. Come see Jackson and the two tiny wonders perform live at the next tour stop, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 9 in Denver, CO at the Pepsi Center. Tickets currently start at just $56.

11/25/15 - It’s no secret that Janet Jackson has inspired millions in her decorated music career. As she prepares to kick off the second leg of her Unbreakable Tour starting in January, she’s no doubt enjoying the rendition of her song “Rhythm Nation,” that was recently performed on the hit TV show, Lip Sync Battle. While it was no surprise that someone would want to cover her song, the actor who actually performed it was more than unexpected. That actor was none other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and he absolutely killed the lip sync cover. Come catch the real deal when Jackson returns to the stage in January. Tickets to opening night start at $71.

11/18/16 - Janet Jackson has always been known for her role as a fashion trendsetter. Remember that long leather jacket she wore back in 2000? It wasn’t long until that look caught on. Other examples of her impeccable taste include military jackets, crop tops and great accessories. Her “Unbreakable” tour has been a roaring success so far, and, like always, her fashion has been in full force. The first leg of shows in the United States and Canada is now over, allowing her to take her show across seas. She will be back, however, in January 2016. Get tickets ahead of time so that you don’t miss your chance to see her live!

11/11/15 - There aren’t many things that can make Hawaii any better than it already is, but having Janet Jackson in town for three shows has truly been something special for the Aloha State. She has several crewmembers that are from the island of Oahu, and they were undoubtedly happy to be home for a few days. She performed Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. This marks the end of the first North American leg of her “Unbreakable” tour, but she will be back at it come Jan. 9 when she will travel to Denver, Colorado, to perform at the Pepsi Center. Get your tickets early so that you can be sure you don’t miss it! Prices start at $94.

11/4/15 - Remember several years ago when Janet Jackson had a slight wardrobe mishap during the live broadcast of the Superbowl halftime show? Well, that moment almost never happened! According to recent reports, Outkast almost got the gig instead of Jackson, who performed with Justin Timberlake. While the event made some people blush, it’s one of those memories that is simply unforgettable. It certainly hasn’t stopped her, either! Her current tour has been wildly successful and has received rave reviews. Shows continue this Friday, Nov. 6, in Chicago, Illinois, at the Chicago Theatre. There are just a few tickets left, so be sure to make your purchase today! Prices start at $161 and go up from there.

10/28/15 - Fans in Kansas City and St. Louis got some disappointing new this week. Janet Jackson was scheduled to perform, but had to postpone due to some very sour vocal chords. Under “doctor’s orders,” she had to take some time to rest her voice to ensure that her condition didn’t worsen. Tickets for the cancelled shows will be honored at the rescheduled event, although no dates have yet been announced. Thankfully, Janet was back at it on Wednesday evening in California. She will be live at the CenturyLInk Center in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday, Oct. 30, and on Sunday, Nov. 1 she will perform at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Get tickets for either show now for $28 or $37, respectively.

10/20/15 - A minor controversy has surrounded superstar Janet Jackson this week when some of her fans lost their Instagram accounts after posting videos of her concerts. She recently clarified what was happening in a statement via Twitter. She explains that she loves seeing fans post media to the site, but it was the length of the videos that were causing problems. She apologized for the mistake of having accounts deleted and said, “I hope you understand.” The fans in Salt Lake City, Utah, will have an opportunity of their own to take some great footage of Janet. She will be in town on Saturday, Oct. 24 for a show at the Energy Solutions Arena. Tickets are available for $47 and up.

10/15/15 - You go girl! Janet Jackson has made it to the top of the charts with her new album, Unbreakable. This is a huge achievement for the pop star, who has been out of the limelight for the last seven years. Unbreakable also happens to be her seventh album to reach the number one spot. This honor makes Jackson part of an elite group. She’s only the third artist in history to have an album reach number one four decades in a row, behind Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand. If that isn’t enough incentive to catch her live in concert, we don’t know what is. Tickets to Friday’s show start at $17.

9/15/15 - When Janet Jackson announced that she was dropping out of the iHeartRadio concert scheduled for this weekend, many feared it was due to previous rumors that she was having some health problems. After selling more than 100 million albums and becoming one of the most successful artists of all time, it’s clear that she’s not famous merely because of her last name. She has since learned to adjust to the difficulties, and says her new single “No Sleep” featuring J.Cole is a testament to all those hard times and sleepless nights. Come catch Jackson when she makes her first comeback appearance on August 21 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. Tickets currently start at $85.
