Outkast is one of the original pioneering rap duos of the 90s to have emerged out of Atlanta, Georgia. Fronted by high school friends André “André 3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, the two have numerous platinum records between them and their influence is immeasurable. The group is celebrating 20 years since the debut of “Southernplayalisticakillacmuzik,” an album that has since become a permanent fixture in the world of music. Outkast followed their break-out record with "ATLiens", "Aquemini," "Stankonia" and "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" won them a Grammy for Album of the Year before taking a break.

Now, after an almost 7-year hiatus from the stage, Outkast is reunited and back in a big way: tackling a massive 40-plus date world festival tour this summer! The rappers will kickoff by headlining Coachella, and moving to the Governors Ball in NYC, the Hangout Music Festival in Alabama, Delaware’s Firefly Fest and Georgia’s Counterpoint Festival to start.

Outkast has never conformed to cookie-cutter pitfalls, having a sound and look all their own throughout their career. Mixing Dirty South hip-hop with funk and Afrocentric psychedelics, their music has formed an entirely unique blend that reaches audiences and artists of all levels. Big Boi stated, “It's truly an honor to celebrate 20 years and still be free to do music the way we choose. Don’t just think outside the box, know that there is no box.” Outkast’s ability to permeate through Hip-Hop and Top 40 comes from their massive cross-over appeal. Songs “Hey Ya!”, “Ms. Jackson”, “Roses”, “B.O.B”, “The Way You Move” and “So Fresh, So Clean” are just a few of their hits that changed the face of music when they dropped. We can’t wait to see what Outkast has in store for us with their return to the stage!
