Clash of Champions is over and we’re on to the next big pay-per-view event of the year! WWE Hell in a Cell 2019 will take place on Sunday, October 6th at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. It’s the last big WWE event in the US before Survivor Series, another huge fan favorite. But don’t look too far forward just yet! This year’s Hell in a Cell is shaping up to be a solid contest between some popular WWE Superstars with a few titles on the line. Oh, and we’ll get to see that scary, cage-like structure descend over the ring, of course! Here’s a breakdown of the Hell in a Cell match card so far and our predictions for each contest. Hell in a Cell Match Card & Predictions

Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship

Finally. We got to see these two go at it at Clash of the Champions, but the result was less than satisfying. The Boss beat The Man by disqualification at the last PPV – which we all know doesn’t really count – so this rematch was set up the next night on Raw when Banks challenged Lynch. The champ upped the stakes and requested a cage match instead, well, a Hell in a Cell match. This one is sure to be a brutal (potentially bloody) battle between the top two women in the game. As for predictions, we’re kind of ready for a change and it feels like the WWE higher-ups might be too, so give this match to Banks! Feels like she deserves it, right? (There are also rumors that Lynch might be moving to SmackDown anyway.) A win by the Boss would kinda set the stage for a showdown at Survivor Series too…

Seth Rollins vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship

My, how quickly The Fiend has ascended up the card! And my, how scary-looking he is with his joker-esque face paint! (We can’t get over it.) This match was set up at Clash of Champions after Rollins defeated Braun Strowman to retain the Universal Title. The Fiend attacked Rollins, putting him down with a Mandible Claw and Sister Abigail, which basically told us he’d be the next challenger for the title… in a Hell in a Cell match nonetheless! It’s nice to see the Architect take on someone besides the usual suspects like Strowman and Lesnar, but we’re not sure The Fiend is ready to become the absolute champ of the WWE just yet. We think Rollins will keep the title, but it should be an exciting match.

Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper

The former Bludgeon Brothers members have been hounding Reigns for weeks, so last Tuesday, when Rowan defeated Bryan and Harper interfered to give the Yes-Man an even more severe beating, Reigns came out to make the save. After the chaos, Bryan asked the crowd if they’d like two see him and Reigns take on Rowan and Harper together, and yes, they realllly liked that idea. (Well, teaming up with the Big Dog is certainly one way to get the crowd on Bryan’s side.) This newly formed tag team will take on the big bearded duo at Hell in a Cell. There won’t be any titles or anything on the line, just a good old fashioned grudge match. We’ll see how long this Reigns-Bryan alliance lasts, but we suspect they’ll get the victory in this match at least!

Stay tuned for updates to the Hell in a Cell match card. There are sure to be more title matches after SmackDown’s Friday night debut! We’ll keep updating as we learn more!
