Got Beyonce Tickets Yet? All About Beyonce & Jay Z's On The Run II Tour 2018

How many fans freaked out when they heard Beyonce and Jay-Z were touring together this summer? Uh, LOTS. (Of course, you’ve got those other members of the beyhive who wished it was just a Beyonce tour, period.) Still, we’re excited! GUYS, it starts next month!

Rumors of a possible Bey+Jay tour started in January. Then in February, Ticketmaster created a Jay-Z and Beyonce page with no other information or events listed. People noticed. The music power couple finally announced they were serious in March and they quickly followed with ticket pre-sales and later a sale to the general public. Fans snatched ‘em up. Lucky for you, this tour isn’t quite sold out yet.

We’ve got your Beyonce and Jay-Z tickets here.

They last hit the road as a couple in 2014 when they traveled the US on their sold-out On The Run tour, which grossed over $100 million. This year, they’ll kick things off in Europe in June before heading back to North America to dominate. Because they are THE biggest couple in music right now, and starting in July, they’ll be hitting huge venues like Gillette Stadium, the Rose Bowl, and US Bank Stadium. For that reason, many fans were able to get cheap-ish tickets and there are still some left.

Lots of folks are wondering about the dynamic of this new tour by Jay and Bey. Last time they hit the road together, they were all “Crazy in Love” and this time, they’re following up news of Jay’s infidelity, which they both discussed on their latest albums, Lemonade and 4:44.

As we all know though, Queen Bey is a master of publicity and keeping her fans on their toes. She sold a ton of albums from that whole ordeal and it seems the couple has moved past the drama (I mean, they’ve had twins since then and all). Jay-Z also made a guest appearance on her last Lemonade tour. Sill, those diehard Beyonce fans who have yet to forgive him are wondering how it’ll all go down.

So what can you expect from this duo on their new On the Run II tour? Well, Beyonce gave us a sneak peak of her awesomeness at Coachella: dancers who mirrored her every move, sexy bodysuits, a Queen Nefertiti-inspired cape and crown, and a full marching band. And oh yeah, Jay-Z showed up to perform “Déjà Vu” so we did get a look at their on-stage chemistry. (Spoiler: they still got it.)

Bey had the crowd going wild, asking them to scream, “Hey, Ms. Carter.” But shouldn’t we really be calling him Mr. Knowles? Jokes from the #BeyHive…

The rest of Destiny’s Child was there too. They performed “Say My Name,” “Soldier,” and “Lose My Breath” and it was everything the fans dreamed it would be. Do you think maybe we could hope for a reunion tour next?!

Luckily for the festival crowd, Beyonce didn’t shy away from playing the hits. The Coachella setlist was packed with some sing-a-long faves like “Single Ladies,” “Love On Top,” and “Crazy in Love.” We don’t know what Jay-Z will be doing on tour, but if this is any hint at the song selection Bey’s got planned for the tour, we dig it.

Of course, there are other fans out there speculating that this means a new album might be on the way for Beyonce… if the timing of her 2016 Formation World Tour and subsequent release of Lemonade is anything to go by, that is.

June 2018 update: THEY DID IT AGAIN! Beyonce and Jay-Z just surprise released a new joint album entitled Everything is Love. And fans are absolutely screaming. This should make OTRII tickets that much more highly anticipated and difficult to get. So don’t wait! Told you, Bey is a master of marketing.

Anyway, no matter the setlist or how much stage time Jay-Z actually gets, we know that Bey puts on a hell of a show. And we love a good duet. Come on, you know you can’t resist “Bonnie & Clyde.”
