Summertime is pretty much made for country music concerts. Tailgating too long in the parking lot before heading inside to sing every line of every song with your closest friends? Yes, please. Sounds like a solid Saturday night. We love all things jean shorts, America, and tractors, so here are some of the biggest country music artists on tour this summer!

Kenny Chesney – Trip Around the Sun Tour
The former king of the summer country music concert, Kenny Chesney, is off on his Trip Around the Sun Tour with Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay. We’re sure Kenny will do his Jimmy Buffett and Caribbean island-inspired anthems, but let’s hope he doesn’t forget “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” for the purists out there. Plenty of Kenny fanatics – No Shirts Nation, as they’re known – will be in attendance so you’ll no doubt be in good company if you’re looking for a ridiculous time in the parking lot before the show.
His tour began in May in Virginia and North Carolina but Kenny Chesney is pretty big time, so he’s hitting huge NFL stadiums on his way around the country. We’re talking Soldier Field in Chicago, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It all wraps up in August at the massive Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts with special guests Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne.
Luke Bryan – That’s What Makes You Country Tour
Country music’s pretty boy Luke Bryan knows how to sell out a show. This summer, he’s headlining the That’s What Makes You Country tour with Jon Pardi and Sam Hunt, so that makes one hell of a trio. We’re sure Sam Hunt will do his little country-music-rapping thing and Jon Pardi will sing about beer cans and getting drunk. Hooray! Perfect summer night!
Luke will blast the hits you know from the radio and dance in really tight jeans. Country girls will shake it for him. You’ll know all the lyrics to everything. It’s a win-win for everybody! He started things off in Toronto at the end of May and playing an absolute TON of dates across the US before wrapping things up in Detroit in October.
Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town – The Bandwagon Tour
Co-headliners, yes! The Bandwagon Tour features Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town, two of country music’s current superstars. Ya think we can hope for some duets?! (Oh yes, please!) Miranda’s released her last album The Weight of These Wings in 2016, but she’s got a new song out with Jason Aldean called “Drowns in the Whiskey” right now. Clearly, we just want to hear the crazy old school Miranda songs like “Kerosene” and “Gunpowder and Lead.”
Little Big Town put out an album last year and boy did people rave about “Better Man” but we’re more interested in “Day Drinking.” The Turnpike Troubadours and The Steel Woods will be joining them for select shows.
Their first show on tour together isn’t until July 12th in North Carolina, but you could still see Miranda perform earlier in the summer at a couple festivals like the Winstock Country Music Festival in Minnesota and Country Jam in Colorado. Meanwhile, Little Big Town is playing at the Bayou Country Superfest in New Orleans and a few dates in California. We have tickets for those concerts too.
Zac Brown Band’s Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour
They’ve come a long way since “Chicken Fried” but they’re still the down-home boys whose music people love to listen to while they drink outside and play cornhole. Their Down the Rabbit Hole Live tour started June 8th in Nebraska, and it covers the whole east coast, hitting Vegas and Toronto before the winding up in their home state of Georgia for the last show. Can you say “finale”? They released their fifth album Welcome Home last year, but we’re hoping to see the hits like “Toes” and “Colder Weather.”
One cool thing about this tour? They’ve got 14 dates set for Major League Baseball stadiums across the country, so like, the atmosphere and concessions (hot dogs!) should feel quintessentially summertime.
Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon Tour
Okay, so he’s a little bit terrible and cheesy but people across the USA really love them some Aldean. This summer’s High Noon Neon Tour is sure to be packed with fans. He’ll be accompanied at most shows by Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs, the guy who sings the amazing and funny country breakup anthem “When It Rains It Pours.” Hopefully, Jason Aldean will stick with the hits and the classic old stuff like “Amarillo Sky” before launching into the uncomfortably sexy and weird “Burnin’ It Down.” He just released a new album Rearview Town in April, so there’s sure to be some new stuff too!
Aldean is kicking off the tour in Missouri and traveling around the country, hitting Madison Square Garden in NYC and venturing all through the South (obviously) before finishing up in California.
