Located in the Bronx, in New York City, N.Y., Yankee Stadium is home to the New York Yankees. Located across the street from the original ballpark, the “New” Yankee Stadium hosted its first game on April 3, 2009, with a spring training game between the home team and the Chicago Cubs. Featuring over 51,000 seats, it is time for you to watch the hard-hitting Yankees in person this season. What are you waiting for? We have tickets to all Yankee games!
This open air ballpark has a natural grass field. Designed by HOK Sports of Kansas City, the dimensions and fences are the same as the old park. Even the exterior of the ballpark is designed to mimic the original stadium. Similar to the 1923 facility, the interior rises above the exterior with a massive walkway sitting between the outside walls and the inner structure. Key to the building of the new stadium is the notable frieze, a lattice work that once adorned the original stadium's roof, joining the new roof using the original copper as well.
A new era of tradition starts for the New York Yankees. The most historic franchise in baseball has said goodbye to the House That Ruth Built and hello to a “new” Yankee Stadium across the street. In 2009, the Bronx Bombers started making memories in their strikingly similar-looking park. A new ear of Yankee baseball is underway, come join the Boys in Pinstripes for every game of the season. If baseball is not your thing, Yankee Stadium is sure to host concerts and other events as well. We will have plenty of tickets for all evenst at Yankee Stadium!
