Located on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia, Sanford Stadium is home to the Georgia Bulldogs. With a seating capacity of over 92,000, this is a great stadium to take in a game “Between the Hedges.” We have tickets to all games and events at Sanford Stadium!
Sanford Stadium is is one of the only college football venues that faces East to West, giving UGA’s rivals a hard time seeing the west endzone when the sun is still out.
In the 1970s, fans began watching the games from the railroad tracks that overlooked the stadium's opening at the East endzone. These "Track People," as they came to be known, were able to watch the game for free, and became a tradition. The East endzone was closed in 1981 which prevented fans from watching games from the tracks.
Sanford Stadium and the University of Georgia have plenty of tradtions that are still in place today during all games. Uga is the name of a lineage of white bulldogs that have served as the mascot of the University of Georgia since 1956. Fans have chosen and sing Glory, Glory as their fight song since the 1915. A chapel bell is traditionally rung when the Bulldogs win a game. Since 2001, the players walk through a crowd of fans on their way to the stadium, which is called the Dawg Walk. The Redcoat band leads the Dawg walk.
We have Georgia Bulldogs college football tickets! It is time for you to sing Glory, Glory and watch Uga on the field. Get tickets today for all Bulldogs football games and other events at Sanford Stadium!
