The Pepsi Center sits on over four-and-one-half acres of land in Denver Colorado, just off Interstate 25 on Speer Boulevard. Hosting the Denver Nuggets, the arena can seat over 19,000 basketball fans.
In addition to the Nuggets, the Pepsi Center is home to the Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Crush and the Colorado Mammoth. Opening in October of 1999 with a Celine Dion concert, this center hosts over 200 events each year which also includes family oriented affairs.
Featuring five levels to the arena, there are over 7000 seats for ice hockey, and approximately 8,650 seats for basketball in the Main Concourse Level. The Upper Concourse Level can accommodate 7,650-plus seats for both sporting events. There are over 90 luxury suites. The basketball buttresses weigh approximately 3300 pounds each and are secured to the basketball floor.
For hockey, there are 149 panes of five-inch glass that encircle the hockey rink.
There is a newsroom that seats nearly 175 guests and is offered to suite holders. Club level seats are located in the first rows of the rink, along the ridgeline.
