In 2007 three decks and new lights were added to the venue. Featuring a natural grass field since 1996, the grounds keepers are some of the best in the business, as they were honored in 2004 as the winners of the STMA College Football Field of the Year.
The north end of the field is known as the Richardson Zone. It contains four levels of seating. The first and fourth decks include benches while one deck houses the luxury boxes. The Zone can accommodate over 86,000 fans. The Texas A&M Sports Museum is located in the Zone and featuring a permanent exhibit that displays the history of the school's sports.
There is luxury box seating on one deck and one deck with arm chair style seating. The Zone Club is located beneath the fourth deck, offering a full-service bar and concession areas. There are over 15 televisions scattered throughout Zone as well. There is a press box located on top of the west deck which features two tiers and can seat up to 250 people.
In 2006 a massive LED video board was added and unveiled in 2007. The Texas A&M Athletic Department calls the board the "12th Man TV”. The video board has 154 video panels with a screen size of 74x54 feet. The audio and visual equipment can broadcast directly to the board. In addition, there are LED ribbon boards that encircle the second deck of the stadium.
