Home to the St. Louis Rams, the Edward Jones Dome is located in downtown St. Louis. The dome opened in November 1995, a battle between the Rams and the Carolina Panthers. Featuring 67,000-plus seats, it is time for you and your family to watch the Rams on the gridiron.
The Dome features a concrete floor and can be changed to accommodate many different events besides football, including basketball, concerts and conventions. Seating options abound in this downtown St. Louis venue. There is a concourse level which is also called the lower bowl. There is also seating on an upper bowl, called the terrace level. Other levels house luxury suites and a private club. The floor contains bleachers and during basketball and other events, chairs can be placed on the floor for additional seating.
The floor can accommodate over 12,000 theater seats. An additional 11,000 seats are available for banquets. There are meeting rooms that can hold up to 1,000 people. The Edward Jones Dome has 120 suites on two levels, offering 2,710 seats. A 43,000 square foot club level offers 6,300 extra-wide seats. The permanent seating has risers that are connected to the concourse via ramps for easy access to the portable seats.
The Edward Jones Dome can also be set up to host trade shows, exhibitions and touring entertainment acts as varied as rock concerts, motocross races and monster truck rallies. Part of the America's Center complex, the stadium is close enough to the convention center exhibit halls to be able to connect and utilize both spaces at once.
Lighting is unique in the Edward Jones Dome, as the lights can be set at 55 feet for exhibit hall events or as low as three feet for sports events. There is also lighting at the top of the grid, 140 feet high.
