Chesapeake Energy Arena
The Chesapeake Energy Arena is an arena located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Home to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Chesapeake Energy Arena also hosts concerts and conventions. Opening in 2008, there are nearly 19,700 seats for fans to watch the Thunder.
Chesapeake Energy Arena is located next to the Robinson Avenue exit of the I-40 Crosstown Expressway in downtown Oklahoma City. Originally billed and marketed as a "state-of-the-art" facility, Chesapeake Energy Arena was constructed to a minimum of specifications without the luxury amenities since at the time there was not a major sports tenant.
The Thunder moved from Seattle (they were formerly the Seattle SuperSonics). Their first season played in the Chesapeake Energy Arena was in 2008.
Enjoy a night out with tickets for any of the great events at the Chesapeake Energy Arena!
