Washington State Cougars

Washington State University is located in Pullman, Washington in the Pacific Northwest. This fully accredited university was opened in the spring of 1890 and serves over 25,000 students with a staff of 1304. Washington State offers over 200 different programs of study and is known for being an excellent research institution. In addition, WSU offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate’s degrees to students. The Washington State University athletics department adopted the Cougar mascot in 1919. With six men’s and nine women’s athletic teams, there is definitely a competitive nature at Washington State and a plethora of games to watch.

Wazzu is a Pac-10, Division 1 conference team of epic proportions. Any Cougar fan will tell you how passionate this university is about football and college sports. The Cougs have exciting football games that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The Washington State Cougars football teams plays at Martin Stadium. This stadium is completely outdoors, has a capacity of 43,000 and was opened in 1972. In 2006 major renovations were completed in order to make Martin Stadium better than ever and more comfortable for fans. Washington State University offers a wide variety of sports, including Washington State basketball are all great entertainment venues.
