Arizona State University

Arizona State University has evolved since it was founded in 1885 as Tempe Normal School. Now one of the largest public universities in the country, ASU today boasts an enrollment of well over 60,000 students. There are four campuses in the ASU community, with two in Phoenix and one in Mesa, but clearly the dominant one remains the original Tempe campus. Arizona State competes in the highly competitive Pacific 10 Conference.

Old Town Tempe is built around the university, and the entertainment activities surrounding ASU help the school lay claim to being “The Pride of the Desert”. There are plenty of sporting events to attend, as well as venues for concerts, plays and musicals. Whether you are looking for ASU football or the Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium, ASU basketball and a myriad of other great sports at Wells Fargo Arena, or ASU baseball at Bobby Winkles Field in Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark, we can fill all your Arizona State University sports needs. If a play, musical or concert is on your agenda, be sure to take a look at a list of events at ASU Gammage, comedy over at The Improv, as well as non-sports entertainment at Sun Devil Stadium and Wells Fargo Arena.
