War Horse 2014 News and Updates

The dramatic play set in World War I has gained international fame after premiering in 2007 in London’s famous West End. War Horse has won five Tony Awards including Best Play and Best Direction of a Play. The success of the novel and play has also led an on-screen adaptation, which has one multiple Academy Award nominations.

Tickets for War Horse on the stage are available for dates starting this month and all the way into June of 2014. This North American tour is currently in Calgary with dates in Vancouver through the end of September. Calgary shows are starting at just $65. Vancouver is a little more expensive, starting at $100. Then, it’s on to Vegas for eight nights. Smith Center War Horse tickets start at just $50.

The show will then move to Los Angeles for another eight shows at the Pantages Theatre. The cheapest seating for this particular venue is about $60. Some nights start at $137. Last year War Horse Los Angeles tickets were among the most popular in the City, so get yours now before prices spike. Late October/early November will see a few dates in Greenville, SC and Richmond, VA. Then, the show will be playing in Rochester and Buffalo, then back down the east coast to Louisville. War Horse New York dates start in the low $100s and War Horse Louisville tickets’ starting price is about $90.

Through December and January, War Horse will tour the Midwest with dates in Detroit and Milwaukee. Then another eight shows in Canada before returning to the U.S. for a few shows in Baltimore. Then it’s down the east coast once again to Florida. Tickets to the Ziff Ballet Opera House in Miami for March 2014 are available for as little as $50. There are also dates scheduled for Birmingham, Memphis, and Kansas City. The tour will go as far west as Albuquerque, back over to Austin and New Orleans, and finally close in Madison, WI in June. There are not too many places this show won’t be over the tour’s ten months so be sure to catch it when it arrives!
