The Wizard of Oz Theater 2014 News and Updates

One of the best films of all time is taking a tour across the country: September 2013 to June 2014. The Wizard of Oz will be sticking to the west coast throughout October – playing dates in Las Vegas, L.A., Seattle, and San Francisco. Then the show takes a full month off in November, reconvening in December at the Ordway Center in St. Paul. The Wizard of Oz will be performed at that particular venue until the end of 2013. And there is even a show scheduled for Christmas Day. Wizard of Oz Christmas tickets start at $307 for balcony seating, but in fact that is the going rate for the venue.

The start of the new year will bring eight shows in Greenville, SC. Then a run of sixteen shows at the Broward Center Au Rene Theater in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets for most of the Florida dates start at $75, but the show on January 12 starts at $152. In February, The Wizard of Oz will be performed in Tempe, AZ and Costa Mesa, CA, then another eight shows in Tucson. Wizard of Oz tickets for Centennial Hall start at $102. Another chunk of sixteen shows will be performed at the Hobby Center in Houston. Ticket starting prices are $75 or $90.

April of 2014 has shows scheduled for Arkansas, North Carolina, and Michigan. There will be another two-week break at the beginning of May, and the final performances will take place in St. Louis and Philadelphia at the Fabulous Fox Theatre and the Academy of Music, respectively. Don’t miss your chance to see Dorothy and her three beloved cohorts live on the stage!
